Mi Espiguita is a well-loved small Mexican restaurant with great food and generous serving sizes. The handmade tortillas and sopes are delicious, while the breakfast burrito offers a twist. This simple, plain, unfancy Mexican food joint in Astoria serves actual, authentic Mexican food. The food is good, fairly priced, and spectacular, with plenty given. The steak nachos, cecina tacos, and birria tacos are pretty good. The salsa is spicy. The decor is plain but nice and bright, the place is very clean, and there are plenty of tables. It could be busy at times, but ordering online saves time.
