“We just arrived at a nearby hotel from Copenhagen and were starving so we headed to the nearest restaurant. So glad it was The Quimby, it was delicious! The restaurant is just past the lovely bar with a great whiskey collection, in a bright, open windowed area. We were greeted right away and sat by the window, perfect table for two. Our server was very friendly and attentive, filled our water numerous times and checked on us during our lunch. The food was delicious! I had the pumpkin soup of the day with a wedge salad and hubby had the steak frites and calamari. The soup was light and delicious, wedge salad was a perfect balance, steak cooked and seasoned just right and the calamari tender with a very light coating. Great food and service, will definitely dine again when in the area and highly recommend to others.“

“This is such a cute place and the food was delicious! I came here for dinner with a friend and I got the Crispy and Spicy Sesame Chicken Donburi which was divine. The decor inside is super cute and cozy plus the service is excellent — they were so welcoming and efficient. Didn’t try the ramen this time but my friend did and it looked amazing. I will absolutely be coming back so maybe next time! Anyways, definitely recommend if you’re in the area“

“Neighborhood gem. Great decor, homey, comfortable but well appointed. I have dined here alone and with family, both times it was a good atmosphere. GM Michael is really good and runs a good staff. The food is delicious- good for all types of diet restrictions. Fresh ingredients well prepared. Last but not least also great cocktails. Host and server were friendly and attentive. “Great food, drinks and ambiance though music was pretty loud. Went for dinner and DJ was spinning good r&b and old school hip hop. Every dish we got was amazing. Muhammara was nutty and sweet, with a lot of depth. Labneh was simple and fresh. The focaccia for the dips came out cold and was doused in oil- so that could have been much better. The grilled chicken skewers were amazing, perfectly tender. And the lamb dish was very flavorful. Overall, had a lovely experience and would come again.“

Our beautiful table was in the perfect spot to take in all of what the Rockaway Hotel has to offer. The outside bar and Pool house are exquisite. The pool was bustling with excitement. Apparently there's a 2 hr gap between brunch and dinner. The booking site allowed for a 4pm reservation. When we arrived we were accommodated but looked at funny. We found out that brunch had ended at 3pm. I was really hoping for the full experience I seen here and paid alot and didn't get it.“

It’s typically really ambiant and lovely and feels like an old speakeasy. However, something was off with service last night; went here with my date and we planned to order oysters and cocktails. A (bartender/server?) was unnecessarily unkind to my date. We had requested change seating and he simply sat down and he asked me one question about how I’ve been and she cut him off, telling us to scan QR code and that she would give us one second. If the tone hadn’t been so sharp, we might have stayed anyways. We left right then without ordering anything because it wasn’t an intimate, enjoyable vibe at that point and with the prices being so high, the whole point is the atmosphere.“

It’s always fun to take the ferry across from Manhattan to the Pepsi Cola Sign and walk a couple of blocks. Service was great as multiple servers came by each time. Drinks were also good! Only cons were the slightly loud music (but got drowned out/easier as more people came in) & the fact we reserved outdoor seating but the singular outside table was already full when we got there and had to sit inside. “I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“I stopped by Blinky’s last October OB a long walk I took from Manhattan to Bedford-Stuyvesant. Place looked cool from the outside I decided to give it a shot. It was a bit elevated compared to your typical NYC dive bar, with some cool lighting, a really clean interior, a nice tap list, and friendly staff.

I had two pints of beer over the course of about 45 minutes of hanging out—one IPA and one Pilsner, though for the life of me I can’t recall the brewery names that went with each. The beer was crisp and cool, served in clean glasses. Vibes were on point, beer wasn’t priced in the stratosphere, and overall it was a chill pit stop. I’d recommend checking it out!“
