“We have tried their food multiple times. It's best when you dine in. They give you a big portion of rice, and meat is fresher. We love their lamb/chicken haneeth. Lamb/chicken mandi and grilled salmon.We have taken a takeout a couple of times. First of all, the rice portion is less compared to what they serve you in restaurant, and meat wasn't fresh both time, sadly. Meat was dry, felt warmed up, and went bad in fridge in one night.I hope they serve equally good quality food for dining in and taking out customers.Parking is a bit hard around them. Restaurant is usually clean. We knew they only serve beer or wine which is fine because the vibe they strives for is chill, laid back and catching up with friends. The owner Rick was so friendly and showed great customer service. They had a variety of beers to choose from which was great. “I have been to Dunkin donuts plenty of times I had just forgotten to check in. This location is where I stop before a long road trip with my girls. It is our tradition to pick up munchkins for the road. The first few times they didn't have much to choose from and the staff wasn't on point but they must have changed managers and or staff because they are on it now. Every time we go they have many donuts to choose from and now they have jelly munchkins which are the best besides the chocolate ones. They also have great ice tea and even better coffee. I love Dunkin' Donuts when they get the staffing right.”

I use a wheelchair, which is what first attracted me to going to Contento. I appreciate feeling included. I’d say it’s easily some of if not the best shrimp I’ve ever had in my life. The whole menu just compliments itself from the Calabrian chili butter to the wagyu steak. Also, Sitting in the back of the restaurant is such a cool experience because you get to watch the chefs work their magic on that wood fire grill. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in NYC and in my top 5.”

Also, if you can handle a bit of heat, order anything with salsa macha, a slightly spicy smoky-nutty chili oil.The bad: temperature and texture. It felt like most of the food sat at the counter for a long time before they got delivered to our table, or they didn’t even bother to cook the food. The tuna tostada and spring pea tlayuda sat on a soggy, leathery base. The chilaquiles did not touch the stove, just a bunch of chips tossed in sauce. The tacos arrived pretty close to room temp. Flavors were pleasant, but I expected something more intense or interesting from a Michelin place.Overall, the food’s pretty darn good for the price despite the flaws.”
