We hosted my daughter’s first birthday at Commune (note that they only do kids parties up to 1 year old, but it was ideal for us since we had mostly adults and only a few kids). The coava coffee beans are incredibly delicious and ethically sourced, with options for drip coffee, lattes, and bags of coffee. A guest noted the drip coffee recently switched beans and was not as good, hoping it is a one-time thing. The space is great for hosting events or pop ups, with a beautiful, warm, and intimate setting. One guest enjoyed a Bistec taco that was very delicious. The cafe also prioritizes sustainability, offering real, reusable mugs for customers staying to enjoy drinks, no plastic bottled water, and composting infrastructure. A guest had a really delicious cappuccino. Some feedback mentioned the bar space can be challenging, and a trivia game had a wait time affected by split projection on two projectors.
