Possibly my favorite restaurant in New York. I used to live within walking distance and it was my go to spot for years. Now I make a point to go whenever I'm on the LES. The wine list is excellent and I love their cheese, charcuterie, and salads. I like to sit outside there when the weather is warm
This place has the dining texture of a Paris Bistro. The execution of dishes is classic French with asian & latin flavor profiles mingled in. Duck Rillets GET IT! Beet Salad. Order 2. This place doesnt miss many if any steps. Tight & Thoughtful wine-list excellent service. Also ask the knowledgeable staff about the speakeasy scene nearby….
Incredible selection of wines- specifically loved a Hungarian orange we had tonight, but honestly have been so many times and no misses!!!

The atmosphere is described as intimate and stylish, yet relaxed. The wine list is extensive and well-curated, with knowledgeable and passionate staff who provide excellent recommendations. The small plates, including a delicious charcuterie board with a gluten-free bread option, pair perfectly with the wine selection. The food is incredible and the wine is perfection. Edit, the owner, is so kind and knowledgeable. Jadis is a gem of a wine bar with great vibes, making it a favorite spot on the Lower East Side.
