Food was superb. Happy hour is a bargain. Cute place. Only complaint is bar seats face a barrier between counter and kitchen so limited ability to chat with staff.

We love Jadis, and have been there enough to consider it an immediate go to. I enjoy it's ambience, on a quieter block of Rivington and a few steps down from the street, the dark wood, the rustic seating. The front bar area is very cozy, and the back room is open for larger parties, with two tables and also a spot with a sofa for lounging. The food has always been great, both the smaller bites and larger plates. The bronzino is one of my favorites and is always perfectly cooked, and just the right sized portion, nothing too overwhelming. I also like the nicely curated selection of biodynamic wines from less areas less familiar to me. Whenever I have been there with both smaller and larger groups of people, Jadis has always taken excellent care of us.

Very classy, good vibes. On the afternoon we came the place was filled with young hipsters, so it seems the restaurant is drawing in a certain niche of clientele, which is interesting. The small plates are particularly good but the piece de resitance is definitely the mulled wine (glintvein, gluhvein), which is to die for.

Restaurant is small & popular, reservation is a must, perfect for date night or friends outings. You can dress casual- up or down & won't feel out of place. Good reputation well deserved, with great food & wine selection. Booked to capacity on Saturday but food came in lightning fast, beautifully presented & very tasty. Waitstaff attentive & pleasant, even being super busy. Amazing branzino filet- boneless & skirt steak was just right, both melt in the mouth. Burrata cheese & foie gras pate' provided great splash of colour & good sharing size for a couple. Crème brûlée with double espresso perfect for desert. We are used to escargot being slightly more garlicky otherwise everything perfect.

Cute restaurant with good wine, but food was bland, flavorless, and overpriced!

I highly recommend eating and drinking at Jardis. Great wine selection, delicious food and a variety of cheese and meat options. Love the ambience and staff was very attentive and friendly. They have a daily happy hour.
My partner and I have frequented this place likely for close to two yrs now. We have also brought most of our family and friends here. We love the romantic/cozy vibe, wine and food! They also have gf bread for charcuterie which is a HUGE plus for me!
I loved loved loved the skirt steak! Came for a birthday dinner with a friend today and decided to go for the steak-- amazing!! Not a steak person but this light change my mind. I loved the arugula that came with it, the vinaigrette was splendid. Ambiance is amazing, intimate and cozy, while classy at the same time. Will come back again!!!

A wonderful holiday experience. In town visiting daughter and she found this quaint wine bar with a friend earlier in the week. We enjoyed the great wine selection and appetizers/meals.

We loved this place. We went on a Sunday evening and it was only half full. We shared the charcuterie board and had both red and white wine. Both the food and wine were excellent, as was the service. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, or to return.
