Food: the plate looks small, but it is very filling. There are 2 dressings available: Italian and French, but they only had Italian today. The oxtail was good and the jerk chicken was cooked through. Was NOT a fan of any of the sauces - the jerk sauce has a sweet taste but not a good after taste. I appreciated that they put oxtail gravy on the rice and peas for the jerk chicken order without asking. They had a lot of good lemonade options, but they were sold out. The food was excellent but I have only one complaint I ordered a jerk chicken by a self and pay $20. Then only go to quarters. Not enough chicken for $20. The food was really good.
We have been enjoying JAMROCK Jerk for the past two weekends in a row both Saturday and Sunday at the Forest Hills location. The staff is A+ courteous, professional and caring. We have enjoyed all three main courses and tonight we are having the Jerk Chicken. What we like is the rice is not dry and close as you can get if you were in Jamaica.
