Chicken seasoned with jerk sauce and grilled to perfection. Served with salad and plantains or Mac n cheese. They’re on Austin St. in FH on weekends.

Food: the plate looks small, but it is very filling. There are 2 dressings available: Italian and French, but they only had Italian today. The oxtail was good and the jerk chicken was cooked through. Was NOT a fan of any of the sauces - the jerk sauce has a sweet taste but not a good after taste. I appreciated that they put oxtail gravy on the rice and peas for the jerk chicken order without asking. They had a lot of good lemonade options, but they were sold out. Maybe next time? Service: this was a very efficient spot. There is a kiosk looking iPad available to place orders. Once the order is placed and paid for, a text message is received to wait outside or in your car. Once the order is ready you'll receive a text message to come inside to pick it up. The servers were friendly and quick. Ambiance: It was a ghost town today when I went , but yesterday there was a line around the corner. There is a little (by little I mean 1-2 people can fit inside) ordering area where the iPad like kiosk is to place your order. 2 orders cost $40. Not a fan of that price point.

The food was excellent but I have only one complaint I ordered a jerk chicken by a self and pay $20. Then only go to quarters. Not enough chicken for $20. The food was really good.

We have been enjoying JAMROCK Jerk for the past two weekends in a row both Saturday and Sunday at the Forest Hills location. The staff is A+ courteous, professional and caring. We have enjoyed all three main courses and tonight we are having the Jerk Chicken. What we like is the rice is not dry and close as you can get if you were in Jamaica. The seasoning(s) are less spicy (which is to accommodate the masses (which is OK by me). We still need to try their Mac & Cheese. I even made authentic Rum Punch to enjoy our dinner, as the Jamaicans would say “Give Thanks” ?

Just tried the Jamrock popup in my neighborhood for the first time, and it’s a 10 out of 10 experience! Amazing jerk chicken and pork straight off the grill paired with delicious fried plantains and the most flavorful rice and beans I’ve ever had! Friendly staff, quick service, and very generous portion for a great price! Absolutely recommend! ?

Presentation was horrible. It was my husband’s first time buying the jerk pork at this restaurant, and the only reason he went there is because someone bought jerk pork here before and he said it was good… but when he bought it there it was not what we expected, it was very salty and DID NOT taste like jerk pork, it was more like Pull Pork. We will stick with Merrick Jerk Inc. they’re jerk pork is Waaay better..
