“I’ve had sushi all over America, and this is a top contender amongst the best I’ve had. The menu is on the simpler side, but don’t let that detract you from the absolute quality they deliver. The sushi rolls are larger than typical and priced very reasonable for what you get. Plus they serve warm sushi rice which not many places outside of Los Angeles do.“

“I loved the Teriyaki meal I purchased with shrimp! They also had awesome customer service to go along with it. I was met with a smile and the staff was very polite. The Chicken teriyaki has a nice savory taste and crunch to it almost. Cooked perfectly and It's a bit sweet. Right amount of seasoning and I loved that. It's some of the best Teriyaki i've purchased. I will be returning and I recommend trying their food.“

“Today I ate at the restaurant while waiting for my food I realized that the employee with Japanese nationality is preparing food while he prepares he touches his nose and begins to take out his snot I think it is in very bad taste that they should take better care of the people he has working in the place.I can’t complain about the food, it’s very tasty and the other employees are friendly but the aforementioned sir is always in a bad mood and makes the restaurant look bad“

“Traveled from out of town to see a friend but also maybe mostly to eat the spicy chicken katsu that I’ve dreamt of since Mini Mart/Mama Yoshi’s used to be a pop up at All Night Skate and we would go sit outside in the cold and enjoy the food and a cocktail. Moved out of reach in 2022 and my life has not been complete without the sandwhich I’ve evangelized across several countries and continents. Thankfully as spicy or at least close to as spicy as it has always been. Thanks for keeping the quality and quantity the same and the prices really much closer than I expected. Highlights: bluefin tuna, seasonal firefly squid, and three rounds of premium Japanese sea urchin (my boyfriend was thrilled). The sushi progression makes sense, and the gold-leaf tuna with edible glitter spray is a fun touch. The chef is Chinese and super friendly – gave us great tips on handling fish. Much better than schlepping into Manhattan. Highly recommend if you’re nearby!“

“Okay, I fell in love with this spot tonight. We were looking for a place to watch the Knicks game and they had a giant TV and were playing it inside the restaurant. The owners were watching it too as they are big fans and the energy was so good, we ended up staying there until the end. We also ordered the katsu that came with dumplings and a lil avocado salad and the veggie fried rice. The food was delicious and fresh and I could tell it had been prepared with attention. The owners are Japanese/Peruvian so you know the food is excellent.“
