“It was a good restaurant to eat. They had a lot of options like sushis and bento boxes. The people were nice and the food came out really fast. I love the bento boxes because you get a variety of foods in it. They have rice, sushi and a dosh of your choice on it. Another thing I liked was the udon noodle soup because the soup is really good and it's warm so it is good for winter or if you are cold an need to warm up.“

“We order take out from here maybe once a month and we always get a large order when we do. Their food is always fresh, flavorful, and leaving us feeling fulfilled and satisfied! Their rolls have an excellent filling to rice ratio! My youngest son loves their California Rolls and anytime we get them elsewhere, he says he prefers from Sushi You. They are very thoughtful of presentation, preparation, and protection of the food en route. Super friendly on the phone and they always double check the order placed. “Another amazing dinner from Katsuno. Our favorite authentic Japanese restaurant in NYC came through for us once again, this time with take-out. Tonight we had the Tuna Avocado Salad, Nigiri Sushi, Pork Hirekatsu, and Tempura Udon. All served with a refreshing can of Funaguchi Kikusui Sake. “I'd recommend this place ... sort of. We chose to sit on the dining side since it was only two of us and didn't want the "show". The service was friendly and good but not overly attentive. Our drinks were very good and a fair price (we had the Oceanside Zombie but without the Sprite added). We both ordered the hibachi surf and turf (lobster and filet mignon) which came with a house salad and clear soup, both of which we really enjoyed. The filet was tasty but the pieces were cut very unevenly so some pieces were medium rare and others were close to well done. The lobster tail was very small and too salty. I would not order it again. I was completely disappointed that the veggies were drowning in teriyaki sauce. There was no indication on the menu that they are served in sauce. I typically love hibachi vegetables but I hate teriyaki sauce! They reminded me more of Chinese takeout vegetables than Japanese hibachi. The fried rice was good but not the best. It came with lots of peas and I hate peas. Another disappointment but not a surprise was they don't offer hibachi mustard sauce. Like so many other places these days they offer yum yum sauce instead which we refused because, yuck yuck. They offered us some ice cream on the house (I think because the server knew I was very disappointed about the teriyaki sauce). It came to the table in little plastic cafeteria style cups with the pull back paper top. LOL. I'm glad it did though because the top listed the ingredients and let's just say, we immediately sent the ice cream back. All in all, not the greatest hibachi experience but also not the worst. I would maybe go back for drinks and try some other menu items ... and hold the teriyaki sauce!“

“Some of you coming from TikTok or insta need to lower your expectations a bit. This is a tiny 2 people run cafe serving home style Japanese sandwiches and ramen not a fancy omakase restaurant. It was never meant to handle this volume of business and some of you complaining about the owner’s attitude need to think about this from the owner’s perspective a bit. I came on a pretty busy day and witnessed this man dealing with a bunch of high school kids going in and out of his shop asking for a million things but got forbid the man’s a little cranky bc heck I would’ve told them to get out. But he still served them and served me and apologized for the wait which I greatly appreciated. And was it the best sandwich and ramen I’ve ever had? No but it was pretty dang good for a cafe in the middle of Queens. Some of y’all need to chill.“

“Stopped by for a quick meal while we wandering around Flushing taking care of some errands. I ordered the Tasting menu which came with a Lobster Salad, A5 Wagyu, some Sushi, and some pudding, along with some Sunte Bay Clams.

Everything was good and the service was quick and professional. There are a ton of restaurants around downtown flushing so this place has a lot of competition.
