“We order take out from here maybe once a month and we always get a large order when we do. Their food is always fresh, flavorful, and leaving us feeling fulfilled and satisfied! Their rolls have an excellent filling to rice ratio! My youngest son loves their California Rolls and anytime we get them elsewhere, he says he prefers from Sushi You. They are very thoughtful of presentation, preparation, and protection of the food en route. Super friendly on the phone and they always double check the order placed. “I recently moved to the area not knowing what places are good to eat. On a family walk one day, my husband suggested we try it. We ended up going two more times that same week. This place has the best hibachi meals and fresh tasting sushi. The prices are extremely reasonable considering how fresh the sushi tastes. The sushi rolls are larger than typical and priced very reasonable for what you get. Plus they serve warm sushi rice which not many places outside of Los Angeles do.“

“Another amazing dinner from Katsuno. Our favorite authentic Japanese restaurant in NYC came through for us once again, this time with take-out. Tonight we had the Tuna Avocado Salad, Nigiri Sushi, Pork Hirekatsu, and Tempura Udon. All served with a refreshing can of Funaguchi Kikusui Sake. “I'd recommend this place ... sort of. We chose to sit on the dining side since it was only two of us and didn't want the "show". The service was friendly and good but not overly attentive. Our drinks were very good and a fair price (we had the Oceanside Zombie but without the Sprite added). We both ordered the hibachi surf and turf (lobster and filet mignon) which came with a house salad and clear soup, both of which we really enjoyed. The filet was tasty but the pieces were cut very unevenly so some pieces were medium rare and others were close to well done. The lobster tail was very small and too salty. I would not order it again. I was completely disappointed that the veggies were drowning in teriyaki sauce. There was no indication on the menu that they are served in sauce. I typically love hibachi vegetables but I hate teriyaki sauce! They reminded me more of Chinese takeout vegetables than Japanese hibachi. The fried rice was good but not the best. It came with lots of peas and I hate peas. Another disappointment but not a surprise was they don't offer hibachi mustard sauce. Like so many other places these days they offer yum yum sauce instead which we refused because, yuck yuck. They offered us some ice cream on the house (I think because the server knew I was very disappointed about the teriyaki sauce). It came to the table in little plastic cafeteria style cups with the pull back paper top. LOL. I'm glad it did though because the top listed the ingredients and let's just say, we immediately sent the ice cream back. All in all, not the greatest hibachi experience but also not the worst. I would maybe go back for drinks and try some other menu items ... and hold the teriyaki sauce!“

“This spot is a neighborhood GEM. I hope the people living here know this. Best Sushi and sashimi for miles around. Solid everytime. The fish is kept well and served well. The whole family works here and they are so nice and friendly. The dad who is the sushi chef has one of the fastest hands around. He just cranks the orders out like butter. The store has about 6 tables but they are never packed. But while I dine in the takeout orders are endless. This man can handle it all and still can chat with you.I wish I lived nearby.... My kids love the chicken teriyaki over noodles or white rice, although I find that the noodles can be a bit dry and in need of more sauce at times. We’ve tried the chicken combination with other proteins as well and they were also delicious. Can’t beat the price either! Definitely getting a bang for your buck. They also sell sushi, but we have not been brave enough to try them.“

“We moved from Port Washington to MA this May and have been unable to find a spot that offers everything that Aki does, not to mention at the same quality! They just execute everything so well. It was our go to for sushi, we loved the apps (the crispy rice and jalapeño yellowtail are fire), and loved also having options for classic Chinese food. We loved that it offered a little bit of everything. We only ever ordered takeout but the service was always top notch too. We love and miss you Aki!“
