“After spending three weeks traveling throughout Italy, I can honestly say Il Gufo was better than anything we had there. Every dish was outstanding. The pizza was phenomenal, the shrimp risotto was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, the meatballs were incredible, and the artichokes were some of the best I've ever had.
My wife, daughter, and I sat outside, and the atmosphere was perfect—relaxed, welcoming, and exactly what you want for a family dinner. Samantha was an exceptional server, attentive, friendly, and made the entire experience even better. The rest of the staff was just as warm and accommodating.
From the food to the service to the atmosphere, everything exceeded our expectations. It was an unforgettable dining experience, and we'll absolutely be back. Highly recommend!“

“Our favorite tapas place. This evening we had the short rib bruschetta, the meat melts in your mouth. The truffle fries are amazing as always. The funghi pizza was delicious! Our server Eddie was attentive without being overbearing. A+ as always.“

“Celebrated my husband's birthday at George White Restaurant on a Sunday evening. Great menu with lots of choices for every taste. I chose Steak Au Poivre from the Prix Fixe, husband and daughter had Chicken Cordon Bleu and Chicken Cacciatore. Everything was excellent and our server, Cathy, was fantastic.“

“My wife and I are from Bay Ridge Brooklyn, with plenty of great Italian restaurants too choose from. We happened to be in LI, had not eaten and stopped to eat before the getting stuck on the Belt Pkwy home.
We are so glad that we did. The food was delicious and the staff were fantastic and welcoming. We had the baked clams and seared tuna, delicious! The beet salad with the quinoa, freshing! The salmon cooked perfectly! The squid ink pasta with seafood (I didn't share) was that good.

All of what we could see were large entrees no fru fru at all. This is another local good place to dine in Floral Park.“

“Atlantic Pizzeria on Atlantic Ave in Freeport NY- It was my first time visiting this restaurant today and though I don’t normally write reviews, I felt compelled to state what a wonderful establishment! “We lucked upon this lovely place when staying in a nearby hotel due to a canceled flight. I highly recommend the burrata appetizer; our other dishes were great too but came from the specials menu so you may not be able to get them consistently. Soft shell crabs, veal osso buco... but I think anything you get there will be fresh and of the highest quality. Good wine list too. If we ever find ourselves in the neighborhood again we will make a point of returning to Franina.“

“I enjoyed this restaurant and experience and would 100% go back. The polenta fries were yummy but very salty and the arugula salad was also really good (maybe toast the pine nuts for future?). The eggplant parm was okay and my friend said it may have been lacking something. I had the clam pizza and it was very good! I love clam pizza and this is up there on the list. My friend ordered the $50ish steak and while it was good, there was too much inedible fat on it (hence the 3 rating on food). The potatoes and onions that came with it were apparently delicious!“

“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

“One of the best Italian restaurants in Lynbrook or anywhere else. They use the freshest and highest quality ingredients and prepare the food exquisitely. I ordered takeout tonight for six people in my extended family and served it family style, and everyone was raving about the food. We ordered Scallops Oreganato, Shrimp Stuffed with Crabmeat, Chicken Francese, Zuppe di Clams White Sauces and a few appetizers and it was all superbly prepared. Several of us were from other towns and repeatedly asked me how to find this place so they could visit in the near future.“
