“They renovated recently and I wonder if the place changed hands. The ambience and food have lost some old world Italian charm and depth. Everything was very good but we went there previously because it was phenomenal. It was just good this time. It's all relative I suppose.“

“We've visited Mama's many times, and it never lets us down. Recently we went there with family for lunch, and it was absolutely delicious once again. I had the lasagna and my wife had the rigatoni. The waiter was entertaining and attentive. A must-try restaurant.“

“Service and atmosphere is amazing at the carl place location (Shout-out to the coolest bartender Dominique), myself and my wife come by every Wednesday for the $10 large pie! Unfortunately branching from our usual wasn't the best with the table side chicken parm instead of the garlic knots, not a lot of pasta and for the price point it felt like we were paying for a cheese pouring presentation. Love the food and people at the location but the chicken parm is all show and no volume.“

“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

“The pan seared roasted chicken is amazing!!! My family and I found this place a few weeks ago. It's a beautifully decorated, clean and fairly new establishment with a very polite staff. My children have had the ravioli, the penne and the chicken fingers and each loved their meals. It's a hidden gem that we are happy to have found :)“

“Our first time here, based upon reviews and vicinity to our home. While the food was tasty, hot and nice portions, the service was terrific the overall atmosphere was lacking. It was excessively loud, small and cramped dining area. The seating should have been about 25 not the sqeezed in seating of 36, when we sat to ate.
I recommend reservations, like we had, to sit for dinner, even on a Sunday.
My wife had the pear & walnut salad, the fusilli pasta & sausage and Italian (made in-house) cheesecake. All were great. I had the watermelon & feta salad, salmon piccata with veggies and pistachio Gelato.

It is average market priced.
Clean environment, and bathroom, but the kitchen door to the dinning room should have remained closed.
We will try it again in the near future.“

The food is delicious; there’s too much food there’s always at least two meals for each order the food that you make. “It is a small white-cloth old school italian restaurant located in what is essentially a strip mall. Atmosphere is cosy. It was half-full when I was there, and the noise levels were fine. Food is standard Italian fare that you would expect to find. They give you free bread with olive oil, along with parmesan cheese, olives, salami, and peppers. I had the veal parmigiana which was great. Crab-stuffed mushroom is a great appetizer as well, probably my favorite dish I had there. Waiters are excellent, friendly and professional, have all been working there for many years.“

“We lucked upon this lovely place when staying in a nearby hotel due to a canceled flight. I highly recommend the burrata appetizer; our other dishes were great too but came from the specials menu so you may not be able to get them consistently. Soft shell crabs, veal osso buco... but I think anything you get there will be fresh and of the highest quality. Good wine list too. If we ever find ourselves in the neighborhood again we will make a point of returning to Franina.“
