Looked for a fine dining for Indian cuisine and this place came up. Went inside and was happy to see the ambience and also the courteousness of the employees. But food was not at all upto our expectations.Daal makhani - I never had this bad of a taste anywhere in North America. No salt.Tandoori shrimp- not sure which part of the city in India makes the tandoori dish dipped in tomato based gravy. Thanks to a suggestion by a server, I have a new found love for lamb chops and dal halwa. The lamb chops were soft and very moist. All meals tried at this restaurant were amazing. But I return for the lamp chops and now the dessert, dal halwa. This dessert reminds me of a childhood treat which I haven’t been able to place as yet.

Went to Akbar's after a really long time...
