“My husband and I recently hosted our baby shower for our first baby at Flinder's last weekend (3/21/26), and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. We hosted roughly 55 people and utilized the entire restaurant for our private event (restaurant buyout). From the onset, Ross and Eric (Mgr. + Assistant Mgr.) were incredibly friendly, responsive to all my questions via email, and agreed to meet not once, but TWICE in-person to ensure all details were accounted for, and that our requests would be accommodated. The event ran smoothly because of their professionalism and attention to detail. During the event, the kitchen, bar, and wait staff were incredibly attentive, kind, friendly, and honestly felt like part of the party the entire time. Our family and friends raved about the entire experience, including the service, the food, and the configuration of the space. We left smiling from ear-to-ear, and are incredibly grateful to everyone at Flinder's for helping to make our baby shower a great success!”

“Honestly, I didn’t expect to have an experience like this in Stamford. My friends and I came to Teff not really knowing what to expect, and we ended up being genuinely impressed.

The Ethiopian and Eritrean food was full of flavor, the spices were on point, and everything felt fresh and beautifully presented. I especially loved the experience of sharing the food and eating it with injera — it made the whole dinner feel different from the usual restaurant experience.

The non-alcoholic ginger beer was also a really nice touch and went perfectly with the food. 🫚

Great food, great atmosphere, and a really unique experience. If you’ve never tried Ethiopian or Eritrean food before, I’d definitely recommend giving Teff a shot. I’m glad we found this place. 🇪🇹❤”

This compliment on your quality and preparation is unequivocal as I have eaten pork chops in more than 200 restaurants throughout the USA, Mexico, South America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Japan, Spain and France. My absolute favorite brined pork chop is served at Castelli’s Ristorante in Palm Desert CA. Inasmuch as my brother lives in Stamford I will be back. “The food was amazing! I had the mafaldine Nero which is a seasonal selection and my fiancé had the beef Wellington and both were delicious. The Wellington was cooked perfectly and my pasta with braised octopus was to die for. We also had the creme brûlée which was delicious. The margarita was one of the tastiest margaritas and I’m not a big margarita fan. The old fashioned with hibiscus infused bourbon was unique in it’s taste but I loved it. It gave the bourbon a refreshing taste. Service was excellent!”

“We never have been to a restaurant in Connecticut as good as this one. The service from Ahmed A was excellent as was all the staff. The food was outstanding as well. It was made exactly the way we wanted it and the whole experience could not be better. When we checked in, we told them it was our anniversary and they set up our table with a card and hearts celebrating it. They gave us champaign and desert on top of our order which was a total surprise and both items were excellent as well. A 5-star rating is not enough for this excellent establishment. For a special occasion it is the place to go to in Fairfield County.”

“I "cried" when my fave VEGAN or VEGETARIAN "GO-to" eat-in place closed all their locations around Boston. That was sadly & formerly GrainMaker .. (gone now) However DiG has grown on me as their deFACTO replacement for all FRESH VEGGIES and otherwise ALL FRESH MEAL VEGAN or VEGETERIAN eats and eat-in place! This is becoming my greatly reccomended "hidden vegan and veggie gem" in Boston with LOTS of locations. They have 3 locations thus far in Boston and 2 in Cambridge. I hav ONLY visited their downtown location thus far! Just as formerly with GrainMaker, DiG is as close to authentic home cooked! & genuinely HEALTHY! AND fresh meals that you can get to. Always fresh veggies, steamed & otherwise. --(they also serve a variety of proteins, as in variety of meats and fish, but i stay vegan. I have NEVER tried any of their meats or fish here.. ONLY their veggies and seasoned TOFU on occasion.. more oft than not, i do not even get their TOFU as a protein and opt to feast on JUST their steamed or boiled or baked veggies, bases. like rice and excellent mixed veggie salads sides!) Have been frequenting it for about 2 years since 2023 now, but held off on reviewing it until i was SURE of my experiences here. Decided to review it today bcs "it's time". I spoke to the very customer service oriented and responsibve supervisor here at this location, his name is DiJuan and was served by Adonis today and he was also very accommodating (after i explained i eat vegan) and on showing me my MANY fresh veggie choices, bases, proteins (including delish prepared Tofu) and PLENTY of heavenly veggie sides, all preped like you'd expect to find in a Thanksgiving grand day family meal. (AND they do this EVERY DAY!! ) This is HEALTHY eats and quite tasty and delish! See my posted pic w this review of my choice of eats today. In short, just today, i started with very little brown rice as my base and added 2 types of their fresh salad, Cannellini Beans w dill & greens along with their steamed or boiled Kale greens and added also a sweet potato that had been steamed & also steamed brocolli. I LUV eating fresh, healthy, TASTY and "homemade style" (as in NOT processed!!). I added their Garlic dressing to top it off. It came to something like 10+ bucks (B4 tax)! Unheard of !! for a BIG & FULLY portioned full veggie plate like this! BIG PORTION of a FULL PLATE! -- i declined, as usual to get any protein with my meal today, is why, STiLL i got a HUGE portioned plate! ( I normally HAVE2 order 2 - 3 separate orders and combine them, at HoneyGrow, anuther fave local "vegan" franchise in Boston, in order to get filled up if i'm only eating OMAD, as in One-meal-a-Day, in order to get full elsewhere usually!). They have a FAMILY (feeds4) option after 3pm every day that feeds 4-5 people (adults not kids) for like $43. QUITE A BARGAIN for something like this. AND it look like a Thankgiving day meal to top it off! --(formerly anuther non-vegan place "had this", now gone, called Boston Market. However they LOADED their side protions and even base meal with SO MUCH SALT, yuck! so that was ALL you could taste. THEY supposedly made home made, but found out NOT SO!!, theirs was loaded with processed sh*t, like their supposedly home-made mashed potatoes were the powder kind, loaded with pseudo milk and SALT, YUCK!!) NOT SO ! with this place.. DiG is 180 degrees fr tht.. This is truly GREAT tasting REAL and "home-prepped" veggies. They are winning me over from my other 2 "go-to's" "vegan-ish" franchises in Boston whcih have steadily been declining for various reasons, those being Bon-Me (their employees, over at Bon-Me for last 2-3 years it seems at ALL locations i have tried, simply do not undertsand nor speak english for the most part, their food WEN i can get it ordered the way i want it, is generally good, oft times its taken over 2 returned plates in order to get it prepared the way i orderd it.. v”

“If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would! The owners are genuinely some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. They’re so warm, welcoming, and always encourage you to try something new on the menu. Every visit feels like you’re being treated like family.

The food is absolutely incredible, and everything is made fresh to order. I’ve tried so many dishes here, and I’ve honestly never had a bad experience. And don’t even get me started on the desserts—their baklava is hands down the best I’ve ever had!

I’ve brought so many friends and family members here over the years, and every single one of them has ended up loving it just as much as I do. It’s become one of our favorite places to eat.

“Mecha Noodle Bar is one of Stamford’s best places to go when only a giant bowl of noodles will solve the problem. The broth is flavorful, the noodles are satisfying, and the bao buns have a mysterious habit of disappearing from the table almost immediately.

The atmosphere is lively and casual, making it a great choice for a quick meal, date night, or family dinner. We can always guarantee that our kids will leave with full bellies which, as any parent knows, is basically the highest possible restaurant rating.

The portions are generous, but ordering something to share is still highly recommended mostly because watching someone else eat bao while you don’t have one is completely avoidable. Come hungry, wear something you’re comfortable splashing broth on, and prepare to leave full, happy, and already thinking about your next bowl.”

The OWNER of the business took time out of his day to come to my house to explain and apologize for the mistake. I guess I clicked on the cheese on 1/2, when I thought it was extra cheese (as it was a large cheese pizza). Honest mistake for the pizza maker who also answered the phone and was a bit overwhelmed but a very sure housewife, asking why the pizza was naked, w an angry 6yr old asking me “how could this happen??? I looooove Bronx house…” Drama. So, I take it back- and am so happy we can keep ordering from this establishment. My kid loves the pizza, and it’s super quick and conveniently located by the hockey rink… lesson learned, just call. Us dinosaurs are no good at online ordering.”

“Cafe Luna has quickly become one of my favorite spots, and it’s all thanks to the outstanding quality of their coffee. Every cup feels like it’s crafted with care—from the rich aroma that fills the air to the perfectly balanced flavors. Whether it’s their smooth espresso or a velvety latte, the coffee here is always on point. You can really taste the freshness of the beans they use. Plus, the cozy, welcoming vibe makes it the perfect place to relax, chat, or even get some work done. If you appreciate great coffee, Cafe Luna won’t disappoint!”

“I stopped by BonJo Coffee Roasters after hearing some good things about them, and overall, I can see why people recommend this spot.

First, a helpful tip if you’re driving. There is parking around the back, which is always appreciated in Stamford. They also have tables and chairs out front if you want to enjoy your coffee outside.

Inside, the shop is a decent size, very clean, bright, and welcoming. I was greeted immediately, and the staff was fantastic. Everyone was super friendly, personable, and happy to give recommendations, especially when I started asking about the different flavors.

I ended up ordering a large cold brew with spiced apple syrup, and it was very good. Smooth, refreshing, and flavorful, with the spiced apple adding something different without taking away from the coffee itself. Just a solid cup of coffee all around.

My biggest critique is the price. A large coffee can run around $9 to $10, which is definitely getting up there. Unfortunately, that seems to be where Stamford coffee prices are heading. Lorca, Humbled, and several other local shops are now playing in a similar price range. My wallet has officially noticed the trend. 😂

That said, good coffee, excellent customer service, and a clean, comfortable atmosphere go a long way.

Would I come back? Absolutely. They have several other flavors made in house that caught my attention, so I already know this will not be my last visit.”

“I "cried" when my fave VEGAN or VEGETARIAN "GO-to" eat-in place closed all their locations around Boston. That was sadly & formerly GrainMaker .. (gone now) However DiG has grown on me as their deFACTO replacement for all FRESH VEGGIES and otherwise ALL FRESH MEAL VEGAN or VEGETERIAN eats and eat-in place! This is becoming my greatly reccomended "hidden vegan and veggie gem" in Boston with LOTS of locations. They have 3 locations thus far in Boston and 2 in Cambridge. I hav ONLY visited their downtown location thus far! Just as formerly with GrainMaker, DiG is as close to authentic home cooked! & genuinely HEALTHY! AND fresh meals that you can get to. Always fresh veggies, steamed & otherwise. --(they also serve a variety of proteins, as in variety of meats and fish, but i stay vegan. I have NEVER tried any of their meats or fish here.. ONLY their veggies and seasoned TOFU on occasion.. more oft than not, i do not even get their TOFU as a protein and opt to feast on JUST their steamed or boiled or baked veggies, bases. like rice and excellent mixed veggie salads sides!) Have been frequenting it for about 2 years since 2023 now, but held off on reviewing it until i was SURE of my experiences here. Decided to review it today bcs "it's time". I spoke to the very customer service oriented and responsibve supervisor here at this location, his name is DiJuan and was served by Adonis today and he was also very accommodating (after i explained i eat vegan) and on showing me my MANY fresh veggie choices, bases, proteins (including delish prepared Tofu) and PLENTY of heavenly veggie sides, all preped like you'd expect to find in a Thanksgiving grand day family meal. (AND they do this EVERY DAY!! ) This is HEALTHY eats and quite tasty and delish! See my posted pic w this review of my choice of eats today. In short, just today, i started with very little brown rice as my base and added 2 types of their fresh salad, Cannellini Beans w dill & greens along with their steamed or boiled Kale greens and added also a sweet potato that had been steamed & also steamed brocolli. I LUV eating fresh, healthy, TASTY and "homemade style" (as in NOT processed!!). I added their Garlic dressing to top it off. It came to something like 10+ bucks (B4 tax)! Unheard of !! for a BIG & FULLY portioned full veggie plate like this! BIG PORTION of a FULL PLATE! -- i declined, as usual to get any protein with my meal today, is why, STiLL i got a HUGE portioned plate! ( I normally HAVE2 order 2 - 3 separate orders and combine them, at HoneyGrow, anuther fave local "vegan" franchise in Boston, in order to get filled up if i'm only eating OMAD, as in One-meal-a-Day, in order to get full elsewhere usually!). They have a FAMILY (feeds4) option after 3pm every day that feeds 4-5 people (adults not kids) for like $43. QUITE A BARGAIN for something like this. AND it look like a Thankgiving day meal to top it off! --(formerly anuther non-vegan place "had this", now gone, called Boston Market. However they LOADED their side protions and even base meal with SO MUCH SALT, yuck! so that was ALL you could taste. THEY supposedly made home made, but found out NOT SO!!, theirs was loaded with processed sh*t, like their supposedly home-made mashed potatoes were the powder kind, loaded with pseudo milk and SALT, YUCK!!) NOT SO ! with this place.. DiG is 180 degrees fr tht.. This is truly GREAT tasting REAL and "home-prepped" veggies. They are winning me over from my other 2 "go-to's" "vegan-ish" franchises in Boston whcih have steadily been declining for various reasons, those being Bon-Me (their employees, over at Bon-Me for last 2-3 years it seems at ALL locations i have tried, simply do not undertsand nor speak english for the most part, their food WEN i can get it ordered the way i want it, is generally good, oft times its taken over 2 returned plates in order to get it prepared the way i orderd it.. v”

“Randomly stopped at this place to eat and oh my god am I glad I did. I got myself a chicken shawarma. Tender moist chicken with amazing sauces and veggies all wrapped in crispy fresh bread. This was the proper Lebanese food that people talk about. The whole time I was there the guy at counter kept asking customers if everything was OK. I am sure if I got other things it would be as flavorful. See you next week”

“Frank Pepe’s is a New Haven staple, so it’s great having a Stamford location when you’re craving that classic coal-fired pizza without making the drive up I-95 which is honestly a five-star feature by itself.

The crust has that signature char, the pizza is flavorful, and the white clam pie is worth trying if you want the full Pepe’s experience. Just know that “charred” is the style, not a kitchen emergency. It can get busy during peak hours, so ordering ahead is a smart move. A welcome addition to Stamford and a reliable option for pizza night.”

My husband and I waited 40+ mins at another local restaurant for tacos and decided to close the tab and leave because we were that hungry. Within 10 minutes of ordering at taqueria garibaldi, we got our tacos.

We got carnitas, birria, chorizo and carne asada tacos.
All extreme juicy and delicious. Way more Mexican authentic than the other place.

At first $6 seems like a lot for 1 taco, however they come meat heavy and for that flavor…we will go again.

“I cannot say enough good things about this place. The vibe/decor, food and staff are top notch. We ordered the lamb kebab pita with fries $12.50 and Arabic style beef swarma platter $15.60. Lamb was super soft with a generous portion. The Arabic beef was not what we expected but delicious and we're glad we got it to try, it's like a chopped beef. The staff was very patient and super friendly. After we finished our food we decided to get gelato $10 for 3 scoops, we got Nutella, dulce de leche and speculoos, SO GOOD. The guy was so nice he gave my toddler his very own complimentary micro scoop in a teenie cone ❤ he took one lick and the scoop ended up on the floor and then he OFFERED HIM A REPLACEMENT!!! I wish this place was closer to NY, I would go weekly for sure!”

Today was an emotional day as my younger son underwent surgery. While we were at the hospital, someone else dropped my older son off at camp. In the middle of everything, I realized I had forgotten to pack his lunchbox. As a mom, I immediately worried that he wouldn't have anything to eat.
Thankfully, I was able to place a lunch order for him at the very last minute through EB222 Cafe & Catering. Knowing he had a good lunch while I stayed by my younger son's side brought me so much peace during an already stressful day.
