Had an excellent Parihuela Salvaje and the best sangria ever. Staff were friendly and welcoming even if the service wasn't precise. Overall a very fine meal in a casual, comfortable space.
The filet mignon Lomo Saltado was spectacular and the bread and the sauce associated with it was incredible as well. I usually go to a place called Fiesta in Stamford but for the last few times the meat/lomo has been very very bland.
This place is spectacular. Small but definitely worth visiting..The chef comes out to say hello and is so proud of her TRUE Peruvian food. !! A must do in Stamford !!!
My husband and I recently visited this restaurant for the second time. The food was excellent; we ordered the *Choritos a la Chalaca*—definitely delicious, with exquisite flavor and very fresh—as well as the *Parihuela Salvaje* and the *Combo Costero con Marisco*. We also had seafood fried rice, fish ceviche, *jalea mixta*, and *causa de pollo*—everything was truly exquisite and delicious.
