“I stopped by BonJo Coffee Roasters after hearing some good things about them, and overall, I can see why people recommend this spot.

First, a helpful tip if you’re driving. There is parking around the back, which is always appreciated in Stamford. They also have tables and chairs out front if you want to enjoy your coffee outside.

Inside, the shop is a decent size, very clean, bright, and welcoming. I was greeted immediately, and the staff was fantastic. Everyone was super friendly, personable, and happy to give recommendations, especially when I started asking about the different flavors.

I ended up ordering a large cold brew with spiced apple syrup, and it was very good. Smooth, refreshing, and flavorful, with the spiced apple adding something different without taking away from the coffee itself. Just a solid cup of coffee all around.

My biggest critique is the price. A large coffee can run around $9 to $10, which is definitely getting up there. Unfortunately, that seems to be where Stamford coffee prices are heading. Lorca, Humbled, and several other local shops are now playing in a similar price range. My wallet has officially noticed the trend. 😂

That said, good coffee, excellent customer service, and a clean, comfortable atmosphere go a long way.

Would I come back? Absolutely. They have several other flavors made in house that caught my attention, so I already know this will not be my last visit.“

They have donuts and such, but they also have meals, a wide selection of teas, and so much more!

“The filet mignon Lomo Saltado was spectacular and the bread and the sauce associated with it was incredible as well. I usually go to a place called Fiesta in Stamford but for the last few times the meat/lomo has been very very bland.
This place is spectacular. Small but definitely worth visiting..The chef comes out to say hello and is so proud of her TRUE Peruvian food. !! A must do in Stamford !!!“

“It was a Monday like a Sunday since it was a holiday. Quiet. I pass it every morning but never see a spot. Today easy peasy -there was no one on the road at 8:30 am. So I went in and did two things I would not ordinarily do. Ordered a delicious latte and a pastry!! The guy who took my order was sweet and had perfect recommendations. I wanted to sit inside but I didn’t want to be alone. I sat in my car and held the cup in my hands and inhaled the aroma while I thought to myself. Next time I’ll come with a friend. “Since i moved to stamford I have been coming here the past three years. The food and coffee is great and the staffs amazing. They even gave my dog a bagel just b/c he loves them. Their card system is a live saver when you are running for the train. Highly recommend!“

“I have not dined in at Wonder, but I have ordered from one of their restaurants, Hanu Poke, using Uber Eats many times, and the portions are always very good and the food is always fresh and tasty. My only issue is that whenever I order poke, it always seems like they are out of ingredients, and I find myself not ordering exactly what I wanted because I have to substitute so many things. Even at times and days of the week when you’d think they wouldn’t be that busy, it seems like there is always something that they are running out of here.
