“This cafe is incredible! The ambiance is so relaxed, clean and open. The drinks are very interested, delicious and well crafted. If you go, you have to try the pistachio croissant. This is hands down the best croissant I've ever had in my life. It's got the perfect texture, perfectly balanced flavor of pistachios, butter and almond. I cannot recommend this place enough. “I really like the seamoss variety they have there. Seamoss holds so many health benefits because it has over 92 essential vitimans and minerals within in it naturally occuring form. This for me is better than a multi vitiman. Whether you just take a tablespoon with some water or tea, or throw it in your juices and smoothies, or have a sot of it. It give you such a good start to start or end your day the benefits are awesome. Love this stuff. Glad I can find it locally here in Stamford. “Had a really great Matcha at CFCF. I really appreciated the service as I ordered my matcha to the wrong location but they very nicely made it for me at the location I had hoped to order it at. The gripps Street location is really nice inside, a little bit small but it did not feel overcrowded. The gluten-free oatmeal square grew on me, but it was not great (very crumbly and not as much flavor as I hoped for). Definitely better things to eat so I will need to explore more.“

I ordered 2 empanadas (onion and cheese + caprese) and a lemon ginger tea. The woman behind the counter brought me my tea with a bottle of honey (it was nice I didn't even have to ask) while my empanadas were warming up. The music was relaxing throwbacks that I was really enjoying as I was getting some work done.The empanadas were really good! The bread/dough was different from other empanadas I've had - there was a crunch like a croissant - but I really enjoyed it with the salsa verde.Can't wait to come back here in the future!“

“Delicious, even if expensive. Loved the cheese puff but $1.61 for two airy bites of pastry was hard to swallow. Place was packed! For good reason! The hot cocoa was incredible, as was the choco croissant, the hamantaschen (prune!) and the lovely omelette. Service was ok (forgot one coffee & grumbled at our kids patiently waiting for rainbow cookies at counter for 5 minutes cuz they didn't ask for the cookies they ordered more assertively after being ignored) and the owner was in a good mood saying "thank you, thank you" best to grab and go!“

However, the food situation was disappointing. They advertise yogurt parfaits, pastries, and hot sandwiches, but almost none of the things were available. So I went in and did two things I would not ordinarily do. Ordered a delicious latte and a pastry!! The guy who took my order was sweet and had perfect recommendations. Overall the food was pretty good and the menu had a variety of different options. I got the warm brussels salad. I appreciate that the salad was so chopped up so I got a taste of each ingredient in every bite. Continually, the granola on the salad was a unique and unusual touch, however, it added crunch and an unexpected sweet flavor and constrasting texture to the soft chopped brussels and the tahini dressing. My iced oat milk latte was good and was what I needed, although, it was slightly bitter for my liking. Overall, it was a very good experience accompanied with great service.“

The baristas are skilled and pleasant to chat with. The overall atmosphere (now that everyone is able to sit inside again, as well as the lovely outside courtyard) is fun and light-hearted. A place I look forward to meeting family and friends while enjoying a quality cup of Joe. They also sell their coffee beans as well.“
