First-timers to Amtrak/Metro North’s Stamford station should not miss this little gem. Ten seconds from the center of the waiting room (north side of the mezzanine via automatic doors), lies a family-run, old fashioned coffee and breakfast joint that serves up a hearty egg sandwich (however you like it) along with good coffee and a host of other choices. I recently was at Union train station in New London Connecticut While waiting for my train I placed an order The coffee is high quality The baked goods are absolutely delicious Joe is very outgoing and friendly I make a trips out to Connecticut every few months and I make it a point to stop by Sincerely Arthur

I definitely recommend Java Joe's at the Stamford Train Station! I stop here after work for coffee and a quick snack. The coffee is of high quality and packs quite the caffeine punch whether it is hot or iced! The baked goods are heavenly. My favorite is the cinnamon coffee cake with walnuts. The cake has just the right amount of cinnamon and walnuts. A slice is like a meal and has a subtle sweetness.
