First-timers to Amtrak/Metro North’s Stamford station should not miss this little gem. Ten seconds from the center of the waiting room (north side of the mezzanine via automatic doors), lies a family-run, old fashioned coffee and breakfast joint that serves up a hearty egg sandwich (however you like it) along with good coffee and a host of other choices. Three cheers to the staff who heartily welcomed this newbie. Their blackboard says they’ve been there for 26 years. It’s easy to see why. Enjoy!

So All Though The Food is Good!! I was charged a cheaper Price for a Sandwich I’ve been getting all week, even the Manager (lady with Braces) charged me the same price. I came the following week. A male worker charged me and extra $1 for something I’ve always paid less for. I thought it was odd so I brought it to the manager (lady with braces) attention. She informed me that it was a mistake. Even when she charged me the cheaper price. Came off kind of rude actually. This is one place I will no longer support.Hopefully your experience is better than mine was.

Super quick, good costumer service, and much better quality than Dunkin.

This train station coffee shop has no business being this good. It's affordable and delicious and please go support this business over the Dunkin

Nice service, good selection, has plant based milks but the coffee is not nice at all.

Excellent coffee. Very nice and friendly staff. Why go to the dunkin donuts around the corner?

I definitely recommend Java Joe's at the Stamford Train Station! I stop here after work for coffee and a quick snack. The coffee is of high quality and packs quite the caffeine punch whether it is hot or iced! The baked goods are heavenly. My favorite is the cinnamon coffee cake with walnuts. The cake has just the right amount of cinnamon and walnuts. A slice is like a meal and has a subtle sweetness. (I noticed that the cinnamon coffee cake sells out rather quickly, and I'm not surprised.) The chocolate chip cookies and ginger cookies are quite delicious, too! I can taste the butter in the former, while the latter has a strong ginger flavor complemented by a gentle dusting of granulated and powdered sugar. The baker of such fine baked goods should be on the Food Network! Stop by Java Joe's the next time you're at the Stamford Train Station! You'll be glad you did!

I do not get why people would rather go to Dunkin and spend the same amount of money for fake food? This place makes fresh eggs, fresh bacon and fresh croissants for the same price as Dunkin and the food tastes 10 times better. Support local businesses people, plus the food is better! Lady working there is extremely friendly and nice too! Will return!
