“Jeff did our daughters graduation party a few weeks ago and it was great. He was very punctual and laid out the food very nicely with his assistant. Food was awesome and plentiful. I highly recommend the barbecue pulled pork and chicken. His corn bread was great too. Everything was great and he was very professional.“
“You know, I have been looking for a great place to get a burrito. Typically they are just rice and beans, and tend to be underwhelming. But at Taco Tequila, I was surprised. I went for lunch, and our waiter, also likely the owner, did a great job of explaning some of the menu and with some questions we had. I went with some wings (buffalo) and the burrito (against my better judgement). The wings were great. They were hot and cooked well, and flavored well. They may not have been the BEST wings I have had, but you wouldn't expect that at a place that specializes in tacos. The burrito was excellent, pastor with pineapple. It was large, with cheese, rice, beans, pico. The lunch special came with tortilla chips, and they laid out 4 sauces including sour cream on the table. The ranch option, green and red salsas were a nice addition to make the burrito even more amazing. It was a great burrito, and hit the spot. It was a nice option to have so close by, and I look forward to paying them another visit!“

“Love Meat in Stamford ticked all the boxes for a great all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ restaurant. Two hours of grilled bbq meats along with banchan, stews, and side dishes. Love Meat offers two meal plans of AYCE. We opted for Set A at $42. The meal we chose offered enough variety of Korean side dishes, stews where we didn’t feel the need to go with the higher priced Set B meal option. At no time did we have to call a server to our table. They were pleasant and came to the table often to grill the meat, fill our water glasses, ask if we wanted more dishes. We like to wrap the meats inside the lettuce leaves which is about the only thing we had to ask for. Asked and received. The grill was replaced often, maybe 4 or 5 times. I enjoyed the SSAMJANG paste, salt and sesame oil/soy dipping sauce options on the meats that weren’t already marinated. When you want to indulge in flavorful Korean barbecue I highly recommend lovemeatstamford. What the 3 of us ordered:Thin sliced brisketMarinate beef short ribsMarinated been ribeye beefBerkshire pork bellySpicy pork short ribCorn-cheeseTeok-bokkiFried Dumplings – porkSteamed eggsTwo orders of Pork Kimchi StewThe Soju was $15 a bottle, we ordered an Strawberry and an Apple Mango. Soju price was higher than I’ve been charged in other Korean restaurants but perhaps the quality was better. I’m no Soju expert so really can’t say. We enjoyed it.The meal was both satisfying and a great way to celebrate my daughters upcoming birthday @tc_stark . My favorites were the marinated beef short ribs, ribeye, cheese corn and steamed egg. Although it was all good those were my standouts. We did not order any chicken which was also available at Set A, not fish on this option. Fish and more side dishes are offered on Set B. Something to note, there is no Wi-Fi available and the bar doesn’t open until after 3 or 4 so no cocktails until then. I’ll be back.“
“Truly a one of a kind experience! ?Simon took care of my fiancée and I so that we felt well informed of the menu, made great recommendations, and even better service for our first visit here! We ordered the wagyu feast and loved every bit-they cook the meat in front of you and have an array of sauces and sides to make your own lettuce wraps or eat alone! Our meal was outstanding and will absolutely be back for more! Thank you Simon!?P.S.-GET THE FRIED ICE CREAM! It’s one of the best I’ve had.“
“This is a fun little place (emphasis on little). Getting a seat could be a challenge when busy. At our table we had bbq pork, bbq chicken and brisket. All great. Also had the combo appetizer which had a fun selection of stuff. Local beers as well. Service decent.“
“Easy to make a reservation on a Friday night. The Hostess sat us right away and our Server was punctual in greeting us and taking drink orders. The drinks were well-balanced, not too sweet. We specifically enjoyed the White Bronco. The deviled eggs, pickles vegetables, chicken wings (chipotle honey), hush puppies, and chopped salad with chicken were all delicious. Our server was very attentive the entire evening and we felt very welcome and not rushed even towards closing. Thank you!“
“Wow. I just had their Italian inspired pork belly sandwich at the Italian festival in Stamford. It was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I was hesitant to write this review because it was so good I want to keep at a secret all to myself. I'll definitely be going back for more and hope they get a brick and mortar space soon!“
“I grabbed lunch here today with a buddy. Very cool place with both indoor and outdoor seating. I went with the half chicken with side salad and collard greens. Chicken was perfect. Good greens too, very tender and tasty. Good service as well. I used to go to Dino BBQ in Stamford. The Wire Mill’s BBQ is superior. Keep smoking fellas!“
“Our first visit. Very good BBQ and the tuna patty with salad was fresh and tasty. The Q had good flavor and texture, though the pork ribs were mushy compared to Texas style. In the lower dining area and bar there is a decent view of a small river. They have only been open inside for two weeks.“
“20 years ago a food truck gave me food poisoning and I never considered another one again. If you're like me and you assumed nothing good could come out of the back of a food truck, you may be correct. However, excellent food comes out of the side of Herbs all summer long! Restaurant quality without the frills and added expense. I should have given them a chance years ago.“
