I want to start off by saying for the past 20+ years I always went to Rio (IMO is not god any longer) Well, last week I went to Don Carmelo’s with some friends and wow! The food was amazing, the inside was warm and cozy and the topper was that Maria who used to work at Rio (who I love) was the new owner of Don Carmelo’s!! I couldn’t have been happier to support such a sweet woman. I will be back soon!!! I’m glad I found my new goto Mexican restaurant.
My kids and I absolutely love this restaurant! The table guacamole is delicious- my kids beg me to take them here just for that. I of course oblige because I love their AMAZING margaritas, so it's a win-win! Other great dishes include the amazing empanadas, taco salad, and my favorite entree- the Pollo Rey. You cannot go wrong with anything really, and the rice and beans on the side just add to the deliciousness. Staff is super nice and friendly, setting a very welcoming ambiance....read full review

Don Carmellos is wonderful! We love the food, atmosphere and the owners Jose and Maria are top notch! As a restaurateur, we love coming here because we feel like we are at home! Everything was fresh and delicious! And the margaritas are fantastic! We also love to get take out and enjoy a meal at home! Can’t wait to return.
