“Great dinner. The food was amazing (Spicy penne vodka, Halibut, burrata and Tiramisu). I'm a bit of a burrata and Tiramisu snob and both were the best I've had in a long time.Service was top notch.Super cute restaurant. If you haven't been, this place is a must. We were very pleasantly surprised.PS The wines were great as well.“
“By far my favorite place to eat. Last night I had Pork chop Scarpariello and it was the best I have ever had, the best. It was soft, tender and full of flavor. My God I was in heaven. Our waiter was very nice and fun to interact with as well. Don't miss this gem, you'll be sorry...“
“Great food for the money. I have found myself going back to try more and more items finding them all to be great and that’s why bc the place is always busy. Free parking make carrying out easy and convenient to stop at for lunch. Try 39 and grilled chicken with marinara on a wedge!Parking: In back or along side easy peasy !!“
“Arrived an hour before closing so I was a little hesitant about what the service/food was going to be like. Not to worry! Fresh, warm bread, delicious olive oil to dip it in and drinks were on the table in short time. Salad was absolutely fresh made and the caramelized onions pizza was right on point...no room for dessert but definitely will try next time!“
“Stopped in off the road and was pleasantly surprised. Was greeted promptly, had a slice of regular cheese and bbq chicken. Both slices were great. The cheese reminded me of a New York City type pizza. The crust was crunchy but soft at the same time. Definitely will stop here again on my travels thru Darien.“
“This lovely, comfortable restaurant has a generous, very reasonably-priced 2-course price-fixed lunch. Have eaten it several times. Each dish delicious - hard to choose which to order. The eggplant Parmesan first course is truly special as are the chopped Brussels sprouts over crispy risotto cake. Today 3 of us shared those 2 along with perfectly and lightly fried calamari. Just as difficult to choose among the second courses. My 2 companions raved about the butternut squash ravioli. I enjoyed the chicken paillard. There is a nice wine list including a decent selection by the glass. Finally, this is a very easy restaurant to get to and park at. Hope it remains for many years to come.“
“Been a loyal customer since the Califano’s ran Stamford Pizzeria. The food has always been fantastic, staff is friendly and helpful, and you always feel like home when you’re there. I try to have something new every time I come but I tend to always go back to my favorites, chicken parm dinner, grilled chicken salad, chicken Italian with red peppers and broccoli rabbe.Parking can sometimes be a challenge but that’s because this place has found a new beloved home in Darien and everyone wants their food. Be patient or do pick up so that you get the best of both worlds.“
