“If the calamari was not so chewy, I would have given 5 stars. However, the spaghetti carbonara was superb, and, done right, without the cream! Just the right amount of bacon and not overly salted. The salmon was cooked to perfection. It could have used a little less sauce, but the flavor of the salmon did shine through. The service was excellent. All of the servers were attentive and friendly. An excellent experience overall. Keep up the good work. ??“
“This place is a gem. I've done takeout numerous times and it never disappoints, the eats are delicious! Quite possibly the best chicken parm wedge I've ever eaten and this is coming from a guy who's most likely eaten more chicken parm sandwiches than anyone in the tri-state area, ever. Lol Their Pizzas are amazing as well. Definitely a great place for tasty Italian treats.“
“This is a little gem in Portchester! The food is fresh and tasty and the staff is lovely. We don't get there very often (we live 30 minutes away) but have been super happy with everything we have gotten there. Great sandwiches and Italian specialties.“
“Love this small local restaurant. Waiters are friendly. Plates are full. I enjoy the eggplant rollitini while husband gets pasta rustica. The house salad is lovely with the roasted red peppers. The desserts are house made and very good, too.“
“Amazing !! That’s what my husband’s friends said about the food here.. I made the right choice on having my husband’s surprise 60th dinner here. John was great in helping me pick the perfect menu .. Thank you again for making it a perfect night ..“
“We all ordered appetizers, entrees and desserts and everything was delicious. They made a home made warm Zabaione for dessert, cooked in front of us and then poured over berries. Amazing! The staff is incredible. I have not had such an attentive staff since way before the Covid era. Alba's is the best restaurant experience I've had in a long time!“
“I can't speak to everything else on their menu because I usually just go there for their Pizza but their slices are huge and very good. They have a lot of different selections and toppings. Give them a try. Also you can get pizza by the slice there and which is very convenient because sometimes I don't want to buy an entire Pizza I just want a slice or two.“
“The food was amazing as usual. And the service is excellent!!Vegetarian options: There are pasta options, salads, and apps that are vegetarian. Also gluten-free optionsDietary restrictions: They can prepare things to specifications.Parking: They have a limited number of parking spaces. But the food is worth parking elsewhere and walking.“
“The food was excellent and the Maitre'd was an expert at what he does. My concern was that I am vegan and when I asked the waiter if the risotto had butter, he said no, it would be okay. Well it not only had butter but it also had cheese. I also saw a waiter eating from a plate that had leftover food from a patron.“
“Torcello is a hidden gem. Run, don't walk to this lovely Italian restaurant which serves up a wonderful array of elevated Italian dishes, and makes you feel like you're VIPs as you dine. Food and drinks were all excellent. Easy parking too. Can't wait to return for another meal. Highly recommended.“
“We held a private event for about 25 people last weekend in the upstairs space at Two25 and I could not have been more pleased! Leading up to our event, Andrea was very helpful and responsive, and the rest of the staff was just as incredible day-of. They were attentive to us and our guests (adults and children alike), regularly checking in to make sure everything was going well and everyone had what they needed. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was fantastic. It was the perfect place for our event, and we'll absolutely be back next time we're in the area!“
“Consistently amazing food and service! Always a wonderful meal and fun experience. Tables are close together, but everyone is so friendly, that adds to the fun vibe. This continues to be our favorite restaurant. Menu is creative and outstanding!“
“Impeccable service to food. Taken care of as if you were in a high end place in manhattan. Lenny’s does there best for the customer to bring good food and service in a welcoming cozy atmosphere that makes you want to come back regularly. The owner walks the restaurant engaging with tables and making sure all is of standard as well as the staff especially Sean!“
“Called the restaurant at about 8pm for an 8:15pm dinner reservation. The awesome manager told me he was going to make it happen.. Got in with my family of seven and was quickly greated by a wonderful host who I later found out wasn't the host but the fiancee to the manager. She was so sweet and made us feel welcomed even before we got a table. Once we sat down, the service was fast and topnotch, food was good and drinks was hitting...Definitely going back again and again..Kid-friendliness: My kids had a good tim, they had fries and chicken tenders that was well made“
“The service always exceeds our expectations. Iggly is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent. The ambiance is elegant, fun and comfortable. It's become our weekly spot to decompress from a busy work week.“
“I don't leave reviews too often, but AJ's deserves it. Excellent burgers, excellent sides and they have, by far, the coldest beer in New Rochelle. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. 5/5 stars. Come here, you won't regret it.“
“Wonderful Family owned ristorante. Menu is exquisite with choices for all tastes and palettes. Sizable portions and attentive staff leave you with a satiating experience. I further recommend the desserts and Lemon Basil Martini! :)“
“One of my top picks for fine Italian dining. Everything is cooked to perfection and the pasta is out of this world. Service is attentive but not intrusive and as one can see by the number of people coming in and at times waiting that it is a favorite of locals. Highly recommend!!“
“My favorite restaurant in Stamford! I come here frequently with friends and the food is always delicious. Drinks, food, & vibes are great. We love Alejandro! Definitely worth the visit.Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for gluten free and dairy free guests“
“Whoever gives this place 1 star with eats in olive garden or drives thru fast food. As a second generation Italian, i grew up with my Grandmother and mother making homemade pasta and my aunt making fresh bread every Sunday morning, Italian cookies, pastries and cheesecake. Osteria Padre Pio is the best and most authentic Italian restaurant in NY. If you grew up in an Italian home, walking into Osteria Padre Pio takes you back to the 1960’s. Whether Sunday dinner, or out on a date, or dining with relatives, you recall fond memories from childhood with each bite. The service is spot on and Chef Andrea is always willing to make whatever you want whether on the menu or not.One night i went by myself. I began with Rughetta Caprino. It is an incredible salad made with baby arugula, goat cheese, sliced apple, radish, walnuts, and Amalfi lemon dressing. Some may say it is just a salad, but it is a demonstration of how everything on the menu is elevated. The salad is a melody of salt, sweet, bitter, and sour merged into an opera of flavor. I followed this up with an unbelievable Veal Chop grilled over hard wood. The Veal Chop was incredibly tender, had the char from the wood and was perfectly seasoned to make every bite an experience. A simple cannoli for dessert was simply the best cannoli I have ever had. I would say I would go back but that is an understatement as I go there multiple times each week. The staff treat you like family and it isn’t just great food, but a dining experience that most under 40 have never had. Run don’t walk to Osteria Padre Pio!“
“The food at Pizzeria La Rosa is simply the best. From the mozzarella to the rigatoni alla vodka to the pizza to the ITALIAN DOUGHNUTS (best in my opinion) - you will not be disappointed. They’re always trying new things and some truly wonderful specials. Matt and the entire team always make you feel at home. If you haven’t checked this place out, you’re truly missing out on the best.“
“My daughter-in-law is from Brazil and introduced my family to some treats like Brigadeiros and so I found Araras online and visited one day to get some . So happy I did and I’ve been back several times to pick up different treats and also to buy some groceries from the market. I must say that as wonderful as the food is, the service and people who work there are even more wonderful! They have always been so helpful and accommodating and make Araras a very special place. Thank you for doing what you do so well❣️❣️Parking: Easy to park!“
“This small neighborhood restaurant just became my favorite after my first meal there. At the window to the kitchen you can see the chef preparing the food with so much attention. Everything was very delicious. Best octopus I've had and the white tiramisu is a must! Hidden gem that deserves a michelin star!“
“Overall, it was an enjoyable dining experience. The staff provideds top knotch service and does an incredible job. You walk in and feel like family. The pizza is incredible, and the ingredients are fresh a must visit when you want a good slice or pie!“
“What a wonderful first time experience last night was. The sirloin steak, the apps, sides were all perfection. I just moved to the town from the West Village and can honestly say the food is better here. And lastly, look at their wines by the glass: Caymus, Antinori. Shows you how much they care about service and their clients.“
“Excellent quality food, generous portions at reasonable prices! From the outside, this place looks like a plain-looking slice shop, but it is so much more than that. The service is friendlier than you normally would expect at a place like this, and they even packed up the leftovers for us. That's always a plus in terms of service. I had the fettuccine carbonara, which was certainly above average in quality. I find that carbonara is a difficult and unusual dish to make, so it's a good way to test an Italian restaurant. This place certainly passed the carbonara test. The portion size was absolutely enormous! It was better than the carbonara I had at a certain Michelin-starred restaurant in New Rochelle! I also had the opportunity to taste the fagioli soup, spinach pizza, and eggplant pizza. Everything was delicious. All of this, and the bill was under $50, with the tip included. Can't beat that.“
“Employees are very good at there jobs & politeThey make a mean sandwich for sure and the prices aren't that bad for the times we are experiencingI will continue shopping there as long as they are in BusinessThank you for the Great food“
“My family and I spent Easter dinner at this restaurant, where the food and the service was phenomenal!!!. A server can make or break your experience and our server Lura was awesome! The owner is hands on and made sure everything was superb! Thank you again and we will be back soon!“
“I started going to Amore a couple years ago. When we parked it looked very quaint , We walked in and it was like stepping into little Italy the staff will go up and above to make u meal fantastic. There us a area to sit outside when its warm and its so nice in doing so I would recommend it. My family has also spent many holidays here and the atmosphere and food is amazing as always but u need not just go for a Holiday any day is fantastic at Amore. Now the main reason for going here is the food is out of this world just like my nana and mom cooked and how I do so. As in the name Amore we love u food and reservations are highly recommended ??“
“They have amazing lobster raviolis (despite only giving 5-6 raviolis, it’s still worth it).Their chicken parm is amazing (great portions given for this dish). My partner had lamb chop sticks and he loved them as well as the meatballs; I had calamari and it was great.“
“Our first time visiting Trattoria 141 was this past Monday and we had such a great experience we returned the next day for dinner to try more things on the menu. Besides the amazing food and ambiance, the staff were just as awesome. The owner Jimmy is very hospitable and dedicated to excellence. His staff Nadi and Rafaello are highly knowledgable and they were a pleasure to spend an evening with. We will be back.“
“I've eaten here about half a dozen times and have never been disappointed. The food is consistently flawless and the prices are not insanely high, considering the environment (you are in Scarsdale, after all!). The place is kept immaculately and the staff is courteous and professional. I highly recommend, especially for special occasions.Parking: There is valet parking.“
“The food was very good. We had a reservation for six people. Our table was comfortable. The service was good but from the second we sat down, every single server who came to our table was trying to rushing us through. The server who was taking our order came by three times, within minutes even, though we told him we needed some time. We finally had to tell another server that we are not in a hurry and we would like to please not be rushed through our meal and out the door. After that, we were able to enjoy our time and our food and drinks.“
“Service: Great and very friendlyAtmosphere: Casual, homey and cozy without feeling old or sloppy.Food: Always excellent, moderate/reasonable portionsPrice: A little more than your average pizzeria and a little less than a lot of italian restaurants.Overall I always enjoy a great meal here in this welcoming white plains staple.“
“This place is second to none! 5 stars is not enough! Tommaso Tommaso , the absolute best. The welcoming service is amazing. A true Italian restaurant with terrific food and the best service. The food is never disappointing. The presentation matches the taste!“
“We had dinner here, very nice place, decor, spacious, clean. The bathroom nice and clean. Good service nice people. Good food,* however the portions were small.* Expensive. The mozarella sticks were half the normal size, quite small, pasta served in small bowl and not enough.I am not sure if I would go back for those reasons.“
“Food and service were great. Place was very busy on a Saturday night. Plenty of parking. We had calamari, burrata, and meatballs for appetizers; linguini, veal, chicken and gnocchi main course. Food was delicious. I will recommend going. At times, it got very noisy.“
“La Ginestra has become out favorite restaurant in Glen Cove. The food and service are great. And here's a little secret. If you don't see it on the menu, ask your server if the chef can prepare what you want. No guarantee, but you may be surprised that get what you wish for.“
“Neighborhood Pizza Shop Reborn!Loved coming here growing up in New Ro, it has only gotten better with the new owners! Mario and his brother are super friendly down to earth people! Service is always quick and friendly and they always have something tasty coming out of the oven whenever I walk in! My favorites are the Sicilian Slice, Meat Slice, Regular Slice, Chicken Francese and their desserts are amazing (try the Tiramisu or the Creme Brule Cheese Cake! They are sooo good!)“
“We have been to wonderful Italian restaurant twice this far. Once when my wife and I went out for Valentines date and most recently for my daughter's 22nd birthday. The food is very delicious, the 0 service was superb and atmosphere was great. On top of that, the owner Dean was in the front to greet us entering and leaving his restaurant.“
“Absolutely love dining at Dolphin South Trattoria in Pleasantville! The Chicken Scarpariello is hands down my FAVORITE dish – bursting with flavor and always cooked to perfection. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, and the service is top-notch!! Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious Italian cuisine!“
“Wonderful place! Everything about our visit was excellent. We were greeted by friendly staff and were seated quickly. The restaurant was clean and decorated for the season (Valentine's Day). We ordered our appetizers: pasta fagioli and Caesar salad and were not disappointed. For an entree we had broccoli rabe pizza which the chef modified for our vegetarian diet. It was delicious. The crust was thin and had the right amount of crunch. The rabe was the right amount of garlicky. We should have each ordered our own! And dessert! Who knew that vanilla ice cream dowsed in good, hot espresso could be so sublime. The homemade Limoncello shot, rounded off a lovely lunch. We have been to Bari before and will return every chance we get. Big Mike, Johnny and the staff bring southern Italy to Stamford. No passport needed.Maria and MarkRhode IslandVegetarian options: The chef modified for us.“
“Amazing! This cheerful Italian eatery was a culinary marvel from start to finish. We started with the fried artichokes and the brussel sprouts appetizers. Someone had to pinch me 'cause I thought I was back in Italy. Not only were the appetizers splendid, but the portions were large and could easily be shared. I had the sliced ribeye for my main. The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly; was reminiscent of a high end steak house. I topped off the meal with the strawberry italian donut for dessert. It was a unique and enjoyable mouth watering experience. Service was excellent. They don't rush you, so you can really savor this culinary experience. Bon appetit!“
“This place is great. Unfortunately I am posting this a little too late, so I forgot what food I had but I remember we had a great time. There was four of us. Service was great. Food was excellent because it wasn't. I wouldn't have kept the check in or I would've gave you a bad review but all in all I know we had a good time and it is a jewel hidden away off Marin Avenue where all the other restaurants are.“
“BIG fan of this place! While there’s plenty of pizza options in Stamford you HAVE to try some of the specials! The chicken scarpiello pizza is unlike anything I’ve ever had. The service is FANTASTIC. We had a small wine spill and they offered to switch tables for us. Prices very reasonable. Don’t let the white tablecloths fool you, feel free to dress up or dress down. Will be back!“
“Such a cute little Italian deli. The paninis and wraps are delicious. Yes, the prices are much higher than what you’d pay at another store but the quality is pretty good. I think it’s a family owned deli? Unsure but the service was fast and friendly. Been here a few times and there were lines to order each time but it went fast. Would recommend giving them a shot if you’re around.Vegetarian options: You can tell which options are vegetarianDietary restrictions: Has a pretty big menu. Unsure about vegan options but I think if you ask they could accommodateParking: Small Parking lot or parking in the streetKid-friendliness: Not very kid friendly. It’s a bit tight insideWheelchair accessibility: No stairs and there’s a ramp“
“As soon as you walk in the aroma is straight Italiano had me feeling like Julius Cesar ready to devour everything in sight because the smell was so amazing. Literally anything you want or are curious to try on the menu is gonna taste delicious will definitely be back asap!“
“Have been going there since they opened. Never disappointed. The food is always good as well as the service. Prices are good for the excellent food that you receive. Have had private parties there which were also excellent. Would highly recommend.“
“I love this restaurant. The staff are amazing and the food is delicious. The only thing I can mention is that they can change the music. The first time I went there, they were playing the 80s hits, it was so much fun! The staff and the gusts were dancing and having a good time. I think this was a better choice for the music. But overall, a great place!?? highly recommended.“
