“We enjoyed such a lovely Italian dinner at Gavi located in the hamlet of Armonk. I loved the seafood salad which I shared with my friend Liz. I also loved the Chicken Parmigiana with vegetables. Guests enjoyed Pasta Fagioli soup, baked clams, veal franchise, pork chop and we shared a tartufo for dessert. The service was great! Thank you to Jamir who was one of our servers that evening. We missed seeing the owner-Frank. Fabulous dinner!“

“Food is really good and deserves 5 stars,but i do have a small complaint with my last order. My mom came recently from Serbia and i wanted to order a really good chicken parm with vodka sauce that i had a few weeks ago,but yesterday i received a chicken parm that was pretty dry and almost no vodka sauce. Pretty disappointed with last order overall,but its still a good place. I just hope you dont be stingy with sauces again.“

“This location i have come to a few times. It has progressively become better and better.
The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and quite, while there is a great social bar, with very nice accomodationimg staff and the downtown has become much better than it use to be that this hotel is right within.

Only downside I've experienced is the up charge fee for late checkout. Normally around the world a late checkout there is not a secondary charge of you request up till 1-2pm. Unfortunately this hotel is going with the US trend of charging consumers for needing a later checkout even if you checking at 11pm bc of late travel etc.. Only down on have to say, but hotel it top notch“

“While Sapori remains one of our go to places for the friendliness and efficiency of the staff, last night's meal was not their best. My halibut was seriously overcooked. They would have given me another serving if I'd asked but it didn't disturb the overall enjoyment of being out at a lovely place. In the future I will be certain to ask for it not to be well done.“

“We just came home from Sunday Brunch at Basso by PXK...the "Pots, Pans and Pasta" Brunch. Two hours, a dozen or more courses, one better than the other! Great food, great service. “We had another wonderful family dinner at Mardino's last night. After 30 years and innumerable wonderful dinners I never get tired of the excellent food and service. It's like going home again. You're treated warmly and with respect and everything is always great, especially the stuffed lobster. I would rather dine at Mardinos than any other restaurant I have ever dined. Whenever we want to please a friend or relative, we always bring them to Mardinos. They always as to return.“

“Service is friendly and attentive. Food is good, but expect to pay premium. Look ahead at the menu so you know what to expect. Parking lot accessible via William Street. Far walk for anyone with any impairment. There is a cut-through walkway from the lot to the restaurant but you still have to walk all the way to the front to gain access. Outdoor seating is lovely. Music is played at at level where it's easy to hold conversation and you don't have to talk above it. Always a good idea to phone ahead for a reservation.

Overall I liked this restaurant and the ambiance, and I've been to similar restaurants, but felt this was a bit expensive for my taste. Personal Pizza was $19 and honestly nothing special in my opinion. The Chicken cutlet was delicious but didn't come with anything, no sauce/side, so that's all it was (just to give you some points of reference).“

The owner is always there to great us with a smile, even all these years later, and the chef is always willing to help make your experience whatever you can imagine in your head.
