They were both delicious. The crust could have been a little crisper for me, but is was delicious and they were very generous with their topping. I will be going back there again soon.“

“Gisellas has been our favorite go to Italian restaurant in DANBURY since it opened. Food is always delicious and consistent and the wait staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Unfortunately last night we had a different experience the moment we walked in the door. Hostess was very unfriendly and dismissive, no eye contact and acted like she was doing us a favor seating us! Thankfully, like always, the rest of our dining experience was amazing!“

“This place is amazing, everyone works together, they are all happy working about, when i say work together i mean there's no barrier on to who is taking what table, if something needs to be done then it's done. The several times I've been there Freddy, Chris, Anthony, Ricardo, Juan, Jose, Nefty, Brian, Jennifer, William, and of Course DAvid! They all rock, they all work so hard and treat the guests well and make us all feel well at home.“

Waiter was not friendly, and had no interest in assisting us. Didn't even offer bread , only came after we asked during the appetizer. Food was average to above average which helped the situation. Ownership needs to school the waiters on better ettiquette with customers“

“we had everything from 5 different appetizers, to four entrees and 5 different desserts. We go out to eat all the time but have never gone here. So we tried it, the restaurant itself is gorgeous. The servers were very friendly and professional and on the ball. The food omg. What can I say it was magnificant. The manager came around and made sure everyone was happy, then the owner Danny came in and introduced himself. This is the best restaurant we have ever been to with the best food we have ever tasted. As I said we eat out alot but nothing compares. Hats off to all the staff and the owner. Well done. Cant wait to go back.“

“It has been awhile (too long) since we’ve eaten at Portofino’s, just busy. It was very nice to be recognized and they were genuinly glad to see us “back”! Our dinner was delicious! I had the sea bass over risotto. The bass was cooked to perfection! And their service was excellent as always! Thank you for a wonderful evening! We highly recommend Portofino’s and we will definitely be back soon!“

“My husband and I tried Bora Restaurant for the first time last night. It was excellent!! The food was delicious, the decorations were beautiful, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, all of the staff that we encountered were young but surprisingly all so very well mannered, polite and very nice!! The overall dining experience was amazing and the ambiance is great! I am an “artichoke aficionado” and the Carcioffi Fritti appetizer was perfect. The Pappardelle Bolognese was excellent and the Vitelli Funghi was so good (I got it with Chicken instead). Their sea salt caramel gelato was the best we have ever had. The spaghetti arabiata was nicely prepared al dente with good flavors and the right amount of heat. They make a terrific broccoli rabe. Service is very good and the staff is very friendly.“

However, a few weeks ago I found myself without side dishes for Sunday dinner - and I ordered salads, broccoli rabe and a few other items and they were excellent.
