“My FAVORITE pizza place in Ridgefield! I’ve been eating their pepperoni pizza for a decade now, usually 1-3 times each week.

I love their rich pizza sauce, the crust is nice and crispy, and they’ve got the sliced pepperoni which is great so no cups of grease like at some other places. Their slices are flavorful, and I don’t even need to add any extra spices unless I want some heat.

The staff are friendly and professional, and they always remember regulars. It has a calm and relaxed atmosphere, so I like decompressing after work there, or just meeting with my family for a quick sit-down lunch.“

“My husband and I tried Bora Restaurant for the first time last night. It was excellent!! The food was delicious, the decorations were beautiful, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, all of the staff that we encountered were young but surprisingly all so very well mannered, polite and very nice!! “This place is amazing, everyone works together, they are all happy working about, when i say work together i mean there's no barrier on to who is taking what table, if something needs to be done then it's done. The several times I've been there Freddy, Chris, Anthony, Ricardo, Juan, Jose, Nefty, Brian, Jennifer, William, and of Course DAvid! They all rock, they all work so hard and treat the guests well and make us all feel well at home.“

“Gisellas has been our favorite go to Italian restaurant in DANBURY since it opened. Food is always delicious and consistent and the wait staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Unfortunately last night we had a different experience the moment we walked in the door. Hostess was very unfriendly and dismissive, no eye contact and acted like she was doing us a favor seating us! Thankfully, like always, the rest of our dining experience was amazing!“

Waiter was not friendly, and had no interest in assisting us. Didn't even offer bread , only came after we asked during the appetizer. Food was average to above average which helped the situation. Ownership needs to school the waiters on better ettiquette with customers“

“we had everything from 5 different appetizers, to four entrees and 5 different desserts. We go out to eat all the time but have never gone here. So we tried it, the restaurant itself is gorgeous. The servers were very friendly and professional and on the ball. The food omg. What can I say it was magnificant. The manager came around and made sure everyone was happy, then the owner Danny came in and introduced himself. This is the best restaurant we have ever been to with the best food we have ever tasted. As I said we eat out alot but nothing compares. Hats off to all the staff and the owner. Well done. Cant wait to go back.“

“It has been awhile (too long) since we’ve eaten at Portofino’s, just busy. It was very nice to be recognized and they were genuinly glad to see us “back”! Our dinner was delicious! I had the sea bass over risotto. The bass was cooked to perfection! And their service was excellent as always! Thank you for a wonderful evening! “I very seldom order take-out - but I tried LaFamilia for pizza when they first opened in Pound Ridge - and was not impressed. However, a few weeks ago I found myself without side dishes for Sunday dinner - and I ordered salads, broccoli rabe and a few other items and they were excellent. Last night I ordered two entrees and they were outstanding.“

“I want badly to like this place but Nemo’s food was actually better. I went here twice because the first time was underwhelming and I thought maybe it was just because of all the tiktok influencers so I went here second time and it was still underwhelming. The pizza is okay, crust was soft but needs more flavor. Some of the veggie apps are $18-22 and was kind of disappointing. I had the branzino which was good but portions are small for a $36 dish and the radiatore pasta that is all over social media is just average. The arugula on branzino was wilted and slimy. The atmosphere (especially in the summer) is their only saving grace. I’ll still come back but only for atmosphere hoping they improve on some of their dishes or addend/add.“

“I’m a tenant in the 400 plus units at Abbey Woods - just a mile from the restaurant and definitely NOT in favor of your delivery policy.
I have to meet your driver 3 stories down at the front door because they will not come in the building to deliver/ your place is the restaurant in town that has this ridiculous idea of how to do business! It definitely affects me as to where I’m going to order from as I’m sure other tenants feel the same way.
Having said that - I think I just had the BEST meatball grinder that I’ve had in years.
I think I would use you more often if only you allowed your delivery folks to use the elevator 🤔🤔“
