I know food and I have been living in Connecticut for 8 years and have to go to Arthur Ave for a decent hero. Not anymore. We recently had lunch with friends and ordered from here. My mortadella sandwich with mozzarella and roasted peppers was so good I ate the whole thing. I think anyone who left a bad review is either working for another deli or they've never had good Italian deli in their lives. We're ordering again today and can't wait.“

“So good. My daighter and i are visiting family I havent seen in 20 years and she has never met. First day here we tried this place. What a amazing gem of a place. Excellent chicken parm roll. The bread was just perfect warm, soft and delicious. Got the gyros and that was not as good, it was bad just not good either. Glad I had the roll. Stick with the pizzas and rolls and you can't go wrong.“

“Do not miss this place if you are driving on I84. Pizza was freshly made ( including the crust ) rim scratch . Kids said that this was the best pizza they had in their life! . It took about 15 mins and had clean restroom. Would love to stop here next time during our drive to Boston“

“Mezzaluna restaurant is a great place to visit. I live in South Carolina and when my wife and I travel to NY we always visit Mezzaluna several times a week. The food and service is always excellent as is our usual waiter, Nick. He is great at his job, very friendly, observant, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The owner who we recently spoke with on the phone is very friendly and makes you feel welcome and special. If you are looking for a great place to dine in I highly recommend Mezzaluna Restaurant“

“Food is really good and deserves 5 stars,but i do have a small complaint with my last order. My mom came recently from Serbia and i wanted to order a really good chicken parm with vodka sauce that i had a few weeks ago,but yesterday i received a chicken parm that was pretty dry and almost no vodka sauce. Pretty disappointed with last order overall,but its still a good place. I just hope you dont be stingy with sauces again.“

“Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with my sister, we started with steamed mussels in red sauce & divine bread. We ordered their Sunday sauce with Meatball,sausage,spare rib, bracelets on rigatoni W/a dollop of Ricotta cheese. Couldn’t finish all of it took the rest home. It was excellent!! served with crispy garlic bread. No room for desert. Service was excellent. Can’t wait to go back.“

We walked in with no reservations and the manager snuck us right in and we even got to the listen to an amazing singer. We have been here a few times, this was by far the most fun we had. Everyone was laughing. The staff which seems to be plenty was having a good time. The manager and Owners kept walking around and making sure all was good and everyone was happy. The food is magnificent; the portions are large yet without skimping on the artistry of fine Italian food. The owner is always there to great us with a smile, even all these years later, and the chef is always willing to help make your experience whatever you can imagine in your head. Their specials are just that, SPECIAL, not because they are going bad but because for decades, they have provided Westchester and many visitors, with a customized and mouthwatering, dining experience. The sauce is very flavorful, perhaps a little on the sweet side.

The cheese was perfect without the too often unwelcome excessive grease.

“I recently had my bridal shower at Biscottis and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The owner Scott is so easy to work with, he even let us come the night before to start setting up. Service was great, and most importantly the FOOD. We let Scott run with the menu and he did not disappoint. Everyone was raving about how good everything it was.

“My FAVORITE pizza place in Ridgefield! I’ve been eating their pepperoni pizza for a decade now, usually 1-3 times each week.

I love their rich pizza sauce, the crust is nice and crispy, and they’ve got the sliced pepperoni which is great so no cups of grease like at some other places. Their slices are flavorful, and I don’t even need to add any extra spices unless I want some heat.

The staff are friendly and professional, and they always remember regulars. It has a calm and relaxed atmosphere, so I like decompressing after work there, or just meeting with my family for a quick sit-down lunch.“

“Food is always amazing, and I will never stop going there, but one thing confuses me. Every time I order a gluten free meal for takeout, there is a giant hunk of bread in the bag. With the gluten free meal. After calling and indicating a gluten allergy. So my wife has to remove the bread and clean the container before I can eat. It's worth the trouble, but it seems like a no-brainer that when someone orders gluten free, there shouldn't be bread in the bag.“

“First time there. The food was good, the portions were large and the staff were very friendly and polite but with that being said, the service wasn't all that great. Drove up from the Bronx and even though it was enjoyable, I won't be going back. Why? Because I hate to be "nickel & dimed" ...I never question prices. I order what I want but when the check is upwards of $70 but I see I was charged for both cups of coffee, it's a turn-off! A little advice: let your customers be aware that there are no free refills on a cup of coffee instead of surprising them with a $10 charge for coffee. Good luck!“

I have to meet your driver 3 stories down at the front door because they will not come in the building to deliver/ your place is the restaurant in town that has this ridiculous idea of how to do business! “Ordered sandwiches and antipasto tray for my daughter’s sweet 16 party and everyone said how fresh the meat was. The sandwiches were made perfect they did not fall apart and were cut perfect size. You don't get that kind of value anywhere close to here, and that's why they just locked me in as a customer. Lots of working people passing by on their way or to and from the next gig. Don't sleep on the convenience of this place.“
