While I have yet to experience the restaurant aspect of Aversano’s, the pizza was great. The mozzarella and tomato sauce both tasted incredibly fresh and the slices were nicely portioned. All of the gentlemen behind the counter were friendly also.The front of the restaurant (for pickups) is small. The tables appeared scratched and there were pizza boxes stacked in the corner. The food here has been consistently good for decades. They serve Italian and Italian American classics. The pizza is also very good. This family owned and operated restaurant is a gem.
