I'm a Bronx Italian woman who teaches pasta making and three of my maternal grandmother's siblings owned successful Italian restaurants (ever heard of Patsy's in East Harlem?). I know food and I have been living in Connecticut for 8 years and have to go to Arthur Ave for a decent hero. Not anymore. We recently had lunch with friends and ordered from here. This place is like a hidden gem. The bread was fresh and the Giorgi hero was really good. I’m not usually a fan of roasted red peppers but these were really good. The sandwich had the perfect amount of dressing. Very happy over all. I don’t live anywhere near here but I’m sure I’ll find an excuse to come back in the future.
