I think the Lombardi brothers have set a new standard in Italian dining within Fairfield County CT. The quality of food, atmosphere and service are all excellent! I wish them many years of success.
Must-Try in New Canaan
Lombardi’s is definitely a must-try in New Canaan. From the elegant atmosphere to the outstanding Italian food, everything was on point. The Veal Chop Special was absolutely delicious — tender, flavorful, and perfectly complemented by the prosciutto and creamy sauce. A fantastic dining experience and definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

It’s “trifficult” to cook guanciale correctly. The fat must cook down enough to melt in the mouth. Many times at home I won’t have the patience. These guys haven’t figured it out yet. Nice place tho.
