Humphrey Bogart greets you as you enter this throwback to comfort and great drinks. Small bites are available and they are very good too.What a contrast to the more casual, college crowd bars and restaurants nearby. J.B.'s is an adult oasis of flavor infused drinks served in great glassware by attentive folks in a great spot.Cheers!“
“Nice place.... Sister spot to Sinclair you'll see some similarities. Bar is nice and big and they have a good happy hour which gives Sophie's the fourth star.The food is good too. Loads of outdoor and indoor seating. Haven't had the pizza yet but it looked great. Apps are excellent.“

“Living in Fairfield, we have a handful of regular places we either go out to eat or get take out from, and Malibu is right there on top of the list. We've been eating here for years, and I am constantly impressed with quality and flavors of the food. The few times we came here to eat, whether its with 6 people or 2 people, we always had exceptional service. The restaurant is also very cool inside, and on a nice warm day, has plenty of outdoor seating.One of my favorites is the Marinated Ahi Tuna rice bowl (ponzu marinated chopped tuna, guac, scallions, sesame oil, toasted sesame seeds, spicy cucumbers, blueberries, miso-lime vinaigrette). But honestly, everything on the menu is good. My daughter is partial to the pork belly tacos.Highly recommend either for family meal or a night out with friends (drink menu is great too!)“
“Ok, we've been here a number of times, so it's time for a review. Service, always solid from host/hostess to wait staff and support. The place has a cool vibe with cool people who hang out at the bar. Giant tv w old movies, some red velvet and beautiful lighting. Now, the food, very solid and every dish was delicious. Come hungry! My wife loved the burrata ravioli. I've had the burrata platter, pasta with short rib, lobster ravioli and branzino special. I loved em all! Enter, relax and order w confidence. One of our "go to" restaurants (especially since they are open late). No high chairs for those who young kiddos.“
