“We were staying in Fairfield, CT, and ended up dining here four different times during our visit—which says a lot by itself.

What impressed me most wasn’t just the consistently excellent food, but the exceptional hospitality. Every member of the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our experience memorable.

On our last visit, one of the staff members, Priya, came over and asked if we’d like complimentary henna. My son immediately excitedly asked if she could draw Spider-Man on his hand. I honestly expected her to politely decline, but instead she smiled, took her time, and patiently created a wonderful Spider-Man design for him. It absolutely made his day, and it’s a gesture we’ll remember for a long time.

Over our four visits, we tried the dosas, paneer butter masala, samosas, paneer tikka, and tadka dal, goat dish—and every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and delicious.

It’s rare to find a restaurant that combines outstanding food with such genuine kindness and hospitality. We’ll definitely be back whenever we’re in the area.“

“My family and I were driving back home and decided to make a pit stop at Marshalls in Norwalk CT. Two doors to the right is Vedas a small cozy 8-seater restaurant that offered Indian lunch specials. My wife and daughter had always associated Indian food to be spicy, but they were willing to try it out. So my wife ordered the butter chicken and my daughter the chicken tikka masala and butter naan. The hot meals came and after eating for a while, they said wow this is delicious, it is not spicy and has this nice blend of spices. Perfect! I ordered palak paneer with a bit of spice and the dish was so tasty. Whether your taste buds are into non spicy or spicy Indian dishes, check out Vedas and you’ll find their specials and prices are friendly for travelers.“
