“A very excellent experience. Had my B'day dinner here with friend and his son. Nothing could have been better, the owners and staff helped us order and our food was novel and superb, and they guided us to the right choices. Afghani Delight Chicken and Achari Chicken were both fantastic with the Naan and also with the rice (which he gave us an order for free when he thought it looked like we needed it.) I am going back soon, will be looking to eat most of the menu. THANKS.“

“We are true Indian FOODIES!! Our whole family loves Indian food. We have tried every Indian restaurant from Long Island & parts of Florida! Kiran Palace is the Best!!!! I am so happy they have finally brought back their LUNCH BUFFET!!! They did it in such a way that no one else does, they have the buffet table set up & bring out tandoori chicken as well as other dishes FRESH to your table as much as you want so these dishes don’t become dried out or soggy!! ALSO, they change different dishes every day, so we usually go twice a week & it’s always fresh!!! The staff is super friendly & makes us always welcome! They even have their buffet on weekends! They are closed on Tuesday. In case I haven’t said enough, WE LOVE KIRAN PALACE!!!“

“Whenever I had a craving for south indian food in long island, I used to frequent Taste of Chennai, i.e. until I discovered this place Village - The Soul of India. This is by far the best south indian restaurant in long island. Their pani puris are killer. The dosas, idlis chutneys and sambars reminded me of what I had tasted back in India. Everything tasted fresh too. The service was good and prompt. We were lucky to get in right before the dinner rush hour where we saw large groups having to wait for a table.

For those who are not familiar with south indian food: their menu is either completely vegetarian (as in this case) or largely vegetarian and 100's of options to choose from.

“Taste of Mumbai is unbelievably good. I've ordered takeout from them 1-2x per month for the last two years and I have NEVER had a meal that I would rate less than an A-. I'm just in awe of how good the food is every single time, and whenever I try something new on the menu I find something else that I love, to the point where now it takes me forever to decide what to order because there are so many amazing options! A few of my favorites are the Methi curry, Green Masala curry, Baigon Bhartha, and onion kulcha. The only downside so far has been that I wish there was more flexibility with spice levels as my wife has a low tolerance and is limited to specific dishes that are naturally very mild.
Overall, Taste of Mumbai has become one of my favorite restaurants and I cannot recommend them any higher.“

“Bhatura King is definitely worth checking out if you’re craving authentic North Indian street-style food on Long Island. The chole bhature was flavorful, fresh, and the bhaturas were perfectly fluffy with a nice crisp on the outside. Portions were generous and the taste felt very close to what you’d get in Delhi.

The menu has a lot of good options and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the service was a little slow during peak time and seating can feel a bit crowded. But overall, the food absolutely delivers and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Great spot for comfort food and chai!“

“Great restaurant, affordable for sure, the lunch buffet. Butter Chicken and Saag Paneer, the best on Long Island. The dinner menu is kind of pricey, but again, it might be worth it! For parties 6 and more they have 20% surcharge, which is excessive for a buffet. Also, the vegetarian choices are not great at buffet!“

Waiter offered up a different chicken dish than we were originally going to order., the Malai Kabab... it was top shelf, melt in your mouth, marinated chicken at its finest. Traditional Indian food and Thai dishes as well. They sell alcohol, in case there was a doubt. We'd go back anytime!“

“We got 2 pies and thought they tasted great. They’ve definitely improved since last time we got it (2-3 years ago) with a lot more meat on the pizza. Expensive compared to your regular pizza but it’s unique and worth it once in a while.“
