Dinner was amazing! Very flavourful, service was great and the price was reasonable for the service and quality of food. Waiter offered up a different chicken dish than we were originally going to order., the Malai Kabab... it was top shelf, melt in your mouth, marinated chicken at its finest. Traditional Indian food and Thai dishes as well. They sell alcohol, in case there was a doubt. We'd go back anytime!
I encountered New Chilli on an April 2026 afternoon nearly by accident when in the area for special shopping. The experience was so positive that my family and I drove there from Queens three months later to see if I was overlooking something.
I didn’t overlook anything. Outstanding restaurant, not merely outstanding Indian (fusion) restaurant. My greatest dining experience ever among restaurants all over the NYC metro area, including a few dozen Indian restaurants.

Based on the reviews, New Chilli & Curry is a restaurant where the original owners have returned, bringing back the same high level of food as when it first opened. The food is amazing, rich, flavorful, and truly authentic, with over 150 items on the menu. From the time you walk in, their smiling hearts start warming your heart, and the owners are some of the warmest people. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Favorite dishes include #1fried shrimp, Drums of Heaven, Hot & Sour Soup “CRAZY”, Chili Lamb “CRAZY”, Garlic Naan, Raita, Chili Garlic Noodles, Chili Fish Hakka Style, Bhindi Masala, goat Rogan Josh, lamb biryani, butter chicken, malai kebab, and lamb pasanda. There is a new spice level called “CRAZY” which is not for rookies. The restaurant serves Indian, Hakka, and Indonesian cuisine. Customers can order beer and wine again, and can order delivery or support the family restaurant.
