The food was amazing!!! I loved the atmosphere so much. The service was also great. Shankar made sure to take care of my party and gave us good recommendations.

Always a great dinner. Well worth the wait to get inside! Definitely get there Manchurian Cauliflower appetizer! Totally delicious! Service always friendly and great even when crowded. The 'Old Monk' beer goes great with the dinner choices.EDIT:They lost their chef and have gone downhill. Very sad for what was a great restaurant.

Mediocre food with late service. Kept waiting for 35 minutes for starters and another 20 for main course to arrive. Portion size isn’t great either. Only saving grace was the paneer and bread basket that night. Schezwan noodles, fried rice, mutton gravy were all average.

Great Indo-Chinese place with taste/spices for everyone. Will definitely come back. Came here on a Sunday afternoon and there was a quaint amount of seating with a nice interior. Service was speedy, liked that they kept a bottle of water and the table and yet were still attentive to water. They also gauged our spice tolerance (chose mild) and gave chili/spice on the side just in case to taste. Had several dishes to share: Appetizers: Califlower Manchurian, solid crispy on outside and of course tender but not mooshy as it can get Dishes: Hakka Noodles, a highlight! Great taste with the freshness/crisp veggies and firm but not too firm noodles. Lamb Vindaloo, delicious good amount of spice and lamb was at a good level of tenderness Goat Rogan Josh, similar to the above gindamoo really enjoyed the taste and meat texture. Shai Paneer, excellent with a good mixture of tang and spice with an enjoyable amount of creaminess Bread Basket, with regular, garlic, and onion. Onion was a favorite! Will definitely come back!

My favorite Indian spot in LI. Great food all the time, cozy spot. Only gripe it is a small restaurant so during busy hour you can have a long wait. But the wait is wort it.

Really 4 stars for food but waited 50 minutes for entrees on a Saturday night where they barely kept the heat going. Food is halal and servers are attentive and kind but with the takeout orders the kitchen is overwhelmed. There are also things on the menu that aren't available. Chilli garlic noodles are great! Ginger chicken was more bland. Our friends recommended this spot but I don't like waiting. I love indo-Asian fusion food, would love to see this restaurant improve on food timing and clean up the menu as needed.

I ordered from this place the other day. I ordered Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chana Saag, and Aloo Gobi.ALL of the dishes were bland (so much so that the food lacked the basic ingredients that create flavor in Indian food). This was very surprising to me considering the reviews. Will not be ordering from here again for the time being but hope they do better for those who genuinely love Indian food and is looking for a great eating experience.

In-laws ordered food for the 1st from here based on the reviews.. my goodness.. this place needs a new chief.. seriously.. or need to taste the food before they give it to others.. ordered chicken fried rice ..ate for the sake of it... Goat curry, drums of heaven & shrimp curry .. the only think that was somewhat ok was the shrimp & the drums of heaven chicken.. wasn't feeling heavenly taste though Wish there was 0 rating..

Great every time I get takeout, whatever I get food it is consistently prepared every time. My go to is the Methi Chicken but I've also had chicken Makhani and Vindaloo and those were great as well.

I enjoyed the food here. Highly recommend the hakka noodles and most of the appetizers as well. We went on a very cold day, and there was a constant breeze coming in from the door opening repeatedly. Maybe a little heater inside would make it a bit more comfortable. Overall great chef and food!

High Fives!i was traveling down the road, just minding my own my own affairs, when chili and curry caught me unaware.i am glad i followed my instincts, this place is a gem!my order:chicken vindaloo with a request for spicy.and drums of heaven.i found something to do for the 1/2 hour estimated time while they prepared this fabulous food.always take it as a good sign they make the freshest stewed delicacies.who am i to say they are the best?i am just gonna do what we all gotta do, Eat!but i can for certain say they did an excellent job making the food, and undoubtedly care for every dish that leaves their kitchen.when i am back next year for work.i will return a few times to check other offerings from this top notch establishment.

This is one of my fave places to eat in this area with family! We have both ordered take out and dined indoors. The food is equally delicious both ways! Just note that I believe only street parking is available for this restaurant -- we usually don't have an issue with finding parking when we dine there though (just be careful of course with the cars on Woodbury). When we go with a smaller group of people, we usually order: - Garlic Naan - Chicken Tikka Masala - Chana Masala - Vegetable Platter The portions are awesome, and I love the sauces you get with the vegetable platter. I also tried the lychee juice recently which was nice and refreshing. The servers are friendly and quick to clear away dishes when you're done eating, and payment is quick since they use a digital point-of-sale terminal (might be Square).

I have been coming here for years, this was my to go to Indian restaurant. Since COVID, I feel like that they changed the cook Or recipe 3 times. It went from the best Indian food ever had to now subpar. I wished I check the reviews before giving them another chance today. The lamb was so hard and overcooked. It felt like they went cheap and don't want to give fresh food anymore. I also got the Hakka noddles, the egg was so salty and the noddles were bland. The chicken tika masala felt over powered with garlic. I hope it's the cook that quit and nothing else. I have to find a new Indian spot now, can't give this place another shot anymore. Service and ambiance is the only reason why it's 2 stars, they are great. Food is now zero stars unfortunately..... I hope they go back to their roots before COVID.
