“So delicious! We used to frequent Lazeez in New Haven but we’re loyal to Royal Spice now. Love their peppered goat, chicken curry, and chicken 65. Friendly staff and priced well. Would love if they joined Dash Pass so we could take out a little easier but that’s a minor thing“

“This place is amazing and its food is very delicious. I recommend this place that is right in the center of New Haven. I ordered a rice bowl with white rice and quinoa accompanied by chicken, chicken and meatballs, lamb meatballs, mango sauce, pickle, tomatoes, cabbage, potatoes and a delicious vegetable soup that is the perfect complement to accompany your dinner. I also tried vada pav which is like mini sliders with sauces so amazing and flavorful- little spicy little sweet. My wife also tried their vegan momos - crispy outside and generously filled soft inside. Lovely food! I will recommend others and will come back to try more.“

“Had an absolutely amazing experience! The Mutton Mandi was incredibly delicious — the meat was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of rich flavors. The rice was aromatic and well-seasoned, making every bite satisfying and authentic. You can truly tell they focus on quality and taste.
The Royal Charcoal Smokey Chicken Mandi was the highlight of the meal. The smoky flavor was outstanding, and the chicken was juicy, soft, and perfectly marinated. The charcoal aroma added a unique touch that made the dish even more special and mouth-watering.
What impressed me even more was the customer service. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was served fresh and on time. They genuinely cared about customer satisfaction and kept checking if we needed anything.
The portion sizes were generous, presentation was neat, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming.

“On the way back to New Jersey we read the reviews for this restaurant so we tried it and the food was just amazing and beyond our expectations. We ate the paneer appetizers and the chicken biryani and it was super good. We would definitely come back again when we’re in Connecticut!“
