I absolutely loved the benne dosa from Swaad Food Truck! It was a proper, authentic benne dosa with a delicious buttery flavor and the perfect texture—soft on the inside while beautifully crispy on the outside. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying.

This place is a must try if you’re in Milford and like Indian food. It’s very authentic and the people who work the truck and super helpful if you don’t know what to order. I recommend parking your car and sitting in your trunk and eating it right there. Especially the dosa so they stay crunchy and fresh. Best dosa I’ve ever had by a mile.
The food here is spectacular especially the dosa! Somewhat hidden in plain sight but definitely worth stopping by. The owner is super friendly and will offer great recommendations. Best eaten fresh

SwaaD offers an absolutely amazing experience with great food for everyone, including families with kids. It is known as the best vegetarian food around, with must-try dishes like Paneer 65 Biryani and good chilli paneer. Their smoked mandi is absolutely delicious, one of the best in Connecticut, featuring rich ghee flavor, dry fruits, and a special mayonnaise. All mandi are good and flavorful. Other popular items include paneer noodles, delicious and rich chai, and snacks like Pav Bayji (Bhaji). Portion sizes are fully sufficient and prices are very reasonable. The service is very good, with a friendly and welcoming owner and employees who take care of every customer. The overall experience is wonderful, with authentic food that makes some feel like they are back in India. Many customers travel far to eat here and definitely plan to come back for more.
