“My first experience trying dosa and I was impressed! This is a decent size restaurant in a plaza, and it had a steady crowd even though we dined later on a Sunday. Every table had an order of dosa and after trying it I can understand why. The dosa was filling and flavorful. A hidden gem!“
“One word: AMAZING!! We ordered takeout from Tandoor a few days ago and my family is still raving about how good the food was! We were greeted with incredible customer service over the phone as we asked many questions about the menu. We also learned that the restaurant is under new ownership and 100% Halal. We ordered multiple dishes from the Indo-Chinese menu and were absolutely blown away by the incredible taste. Everything was seasoned to perfection and not oily at all! The portion sizes were larger than we expected which was a huge delight! We were savoring every bite as we were engulfed in a world of flavor which was true and authentic to the South Asian taste palette. We also noticed the nice serene ambience of the restaurant itself when we went to go pick up the food; great spot for date night or a meal with the family! All in all, we highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great South Asian cuisine in central Connecticut! We cannot wait to come back to Tandoor for more!Dietary restrictions: 100% Halal“
“Highly recommend! My husband and I come here about every other week. Every time it taste wonderful! We always get the chili chicken (appetizer), paneer butter masala, naan, and samosas. They are always prompt on when the food will be ready as well which we appreciate. This has been the best Indian restaurant we have found in the area and all of the staff there is very nice and helpful.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian friendly“
“Super tasty and one of the most authentic south Indian foods I have had since I left India. The dosa is super crispy. This is a very rare experience, especially when dosa is served in . The Sambhar is so delicious and truly taste like home made. The payasam is just as close to perfect as it can be. This is the kind of food you get served in temples. Super good customer service. I do want to take a moment to mention the chef who is doing an amazing job with not only south Indian food, but even the north Indian dishes. And for the price of just $15 this buffet is an amazing experience.“
“This place stands out for authentic and incredibly flavorful food that hits the spot for traditional Indian dishes. The dosas are crispy, light, and absolutely delicious, paired with chutneys that pack a punch of flavor. The people were friendly and attentive and were especially wonderful. If you're in Rocky Hill and craving genuine Indian cuisine, Dosa Hut is the go-to spot. Definitely recommended!“
“First and foremost the ambience and the service was good and apart from that we ordered drums of heaven and chicken 65 which are worth eating and later on we tried kozih chettinad which is a bit spicy but it was good. At last the best dessert we had Gulam Jamun “
