“My favorite place in Fairfield to get salads. They sell wonderful curated salads as well as make your own salads. Ingredients are all very fresh and delicious. The place is family owned and when you walk in you are immediately greeted by one of the owners! They are very friendly and involved in running the restaurant. My favorite salads are the Secret Asian and Southwestern modified to be vegetarian.“
“A new spot in Fairfield, Fred's has a great selection of premade meals that you can take home to heat up. Soups, entrees, desserts, etc. I ordered a sandwich which was made quickly and was very tasty. They have a nice catering menu with good variety. Store was extremely clean and homey. “Stopped in late on a Thursday night in November and were very kindly told by Gabby R. that they were out of baguettes and romaine :( she let us know that we could easily swap the romaine for spinach if we wanted and get an alternate type of bread. She was very apologetic and kind in letting us know and it did not deter us at all. Later, Gabby stopped by our table to ask how our meal was and offer us some pastries on the house because of our understanding of the out of stock items and because the restaurant was closing soon. We spoke with her about her life and learned that she was in school part time while working at Panera. We loved hearing how dedicated she was to getting to know her customers and how she always led with kindness, even with tough customers. Thank you gabby R for making our trip to Panera amazing and i will be back if i ever come back to Fairfield!!“

“I just picked up dinner, Country Greek Shaved Lamb Bowl and Greek Hand Cut Fries. I had ordered online, and when I arrived to pick up, they cooked the fries so they'd be fresh and hot. “This was our first time ordering from Gregory's. We had the food delivered. We ordered a large bacon and onion pizza, which was pretty decent. The sauce was a bit on the bland side and the bacon wasn't salty. Their Cobb salad with chicken was outstanding. The best I have ever had. It didn't need any dressing. The chicken breast was cooked to perfection, and seasoned so well. Their wings had no seasoning. I say, use the seasoning used on the chicken breast. That would make those wings amazing. The garlic bread with cheese was excellent, garlicky. This was an overall very good experience. Customer service was awesome and delivery man also.“
“We live about 30 mins away and wanted to try a Bridgeport Caribbean Restaurant. We chose this restaurant because of google reviews and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The large food portions could easily feed 2 adults or 3 kids. We ordered the escovitch fish, curry goat and brown stew chicken. All were extremely tasty. I must also note that the curry goat was mostly meaty unlike most places that give mostly bones. However, the massive number of kids screaming, running around & crying was an experience I was not expecting at a bar/brewery. The most baffling moment was the bar was out of flight glasses. I suggested to our server to just use a bigger glass & fill with the flight size pour. I don't need the fancy board. The poor girl could not understand & kept saying we can't do that? So, I ordered 4 4oz beers to make my DIY flight.“

Apparently, it was Monsoon Season in CT on Saturday evening...Anywho, the atmosphere, food, & wine were excellent but the service really stood out! Thankfully there seem to be a method to the madness and we didn't have to wait too long. Lots of goodies as you would expect in a typical deli, but they had some unique sandwiches which sounded really interesting. I got an Italian style hero with lots of meats and banana peppers. It was delicious!The BLT was absolutely enormous, and I did not expect a triple-decker. Location was also super easy to find right off of Main Road in a strip with parking right outside. I would say it is a higher quality than the competitors but offers a little less in the way of options. I don't think that's a bad thing since they can focus more on the quality of the offerings rather than the quantity of offerings.My go to is a burrito bowl. I love the inclusion of Mexican rice since it provides a better base than a white rice. Their chicken is also very tasty and pairs well. I also top it all off with a chips and queso that can last a little more than I day.I also think the staff is very friendly and I've always had a pleasant experience with take out or when dining in.Parking: Small private parking lot for the restaurant but also parking in the back where there are some other businesses. Never been difficult to find parking at all.“

I then placed an order online and the same man called me back to say he noticed I placed the order and upon looking into it further, he saw the vegetable oil they use has soy in it.
