“My friend recently posted about this new Mexican restaurant on Post Road in Fairfield, and the food looked so good I had to check it out. When I saw they already had a 4.8 rating on Google, I figured it was worth a try— and it absolutely was.

I’m not a huge Mexican food person, but I do love a good taco. The restaurant is cozy, intimate, and very clean, and the owner, Carlos, was incredibly nice and made sure we were well taken care of.

We ordered the queso fundido and crunchy tacos, and my husband had the birria tacos. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the fresh-squeezed juices were SO good. The portions are generous too— we had plenty to take home.

“I got two juices one I bought and one complimentary. The woman at the front was very kind and helped me pick out some options. She was welcoming and made sure the juices were bagged properly with a napkin so the glass bottle would not break . Both juices were delicious, and the ginger wasn’t overpowering. I could taste more of the fruit, and they were extremely fresh.“

I usually avoid fast food or shawarma spots because of my strict diet, but I chose this place for two reasons: they serve halal food, and during a snowstorm it was the closest option available. I’m really glad I did it turned out to be a great experience. I ordered the Chicken Salad Bowl with grilled chicken chunks, cucumbers, lettuce, chickpeas, hummus, and a variety of flavorful sauces. “Randomly stumbled upon Gaetanos in Westport yesterday when looking for a place to get sandwiches before my son’s baseball game. Having grown up in Belmont Little Italy for the first 22 years of my life I was skeptical about the “Arthur Ave style..” claim on the sign. Well I can tell you they delivered and then some! Was warmly greeted, handled samples of delicious cheeses and more. They were too skeptical when I said I grew up on Arthur Ave but once we started chatting they knew I wasn’t BSing. Saw familiar faces and reminisced about life on Arthur Ave. The owners are warm and kind - the real deal keeping it true to the Arthur Ave spirit. Dare I say they might even do it better!! I can’t say enough about the excellent food and service. If I ever find myself in Westport again I will certainly make a visit! Aside from my son’s team’s win, this nostalgic experience truly made my day and made me feel like I was back home in the Bronx when life was more simple. And yes, everything we ordered and sampled was delicious! No skin on the eggplant and bread from Addeo - doesn’t get any better!“

The food is fresh, delicious, and customizable, with plenty of healthy options to choose from. If you haven’t tried Just Salad yet, you’re missing out. Once you do, you may find it hard to go back to other salad chains!

Food is delicious but I do have to say that when I buy the turkey burger, which is super yummy, 1 out of 5 times it is undercooked and I have to throw it into the garbage. “Brewport Brewing Company will most definitely see me again as the pizza was so delicious and the beer very good. I was with maybe 12 others so I managed to see quite a selection of pizzas, and taste some also. Our server Steve could not accommodate us anymore, he was very caring, made you want to come back to Brewport. I even met the owner and his son, they too were very welcoming.
