Popped in here while in the area as we needed a few sandwiches to go. We got there just before noon and it was so crowded. Thankfully there seem to be a method to the madness and we didn't have to wait too long. Lots of goodies as you would expect in a typical deli, but they had some unique sandwiches which sounded really interesting. I got an Italian style hero with lots of meats and banana peppers. I am so grateful for this place. Its like one of the best old school delis in NYC. And most importantly their employees look like they care and like they are being taken care of. And they work as a team. This is reflected in the kind and responsive service. I am glad Fortuna's exists.
