“We had an amazing experience at Ritrovo for my daughter's bridal shower. Jaime and staff/waiters went above and beyond. Food was amazing, wait staff was attentive and friendly and even helped bring all the presents out to the car. The room looked elegant and was set up perfectly for our party size. Everyone raved about the food and service. Jaime was so accommodating and easy going. He makes you feel like family. I highly recommend Ritrovo's for their food or if you are looking to have an event at a restaurant!“

I usually avoid fast food or shawarma spots because of my strict diet, but I chose this place for two reasons: they serve halal food, and during a snowstorm it was the closest option available. I’m really glad I did it turned out to be a great experience. I ordered the Chicken Salad Bowl with grilled chicken chunks, cucumbers, lettuce, chickpeas, hummus, and a variety of flavorful sauces. It was perfect for my no-carb diet and everything was fresh, tasty, and very satisfying. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a halal, nutritious, and budget-friendly meal. “Randomly stumbled upon Gaetanos in Westport yesterday when looking for a place to get sandwiches before my son’s baseball game. Having grown up in Belmont Little Italy for the first 22 years of my life I was skeptical about the “Arthur Ave style..” claim on the sign. Well I can tell you they delivered and then some! Was warmly greeted, handled samples of delicious cheeses and more. They were too skeptical when I said I grew up on Arthur Ave but once we started chatting they knew I wasn’t BSing. Saw familiar faces and reminisced about life on Arthur Ave. The owners are warm and kind - the real deal keeping it true to the Arthur Ave spirit. Dare I say they might even do it better!! I can’t say enough about the excellent food and service. If I ever find myself in Westport again I will certainly make a visit! Aside from my son’s team’s win, this nostalgic experience truly made my day and made me feel like I was back home in the Bronx when life was more simple. And yes, everything we ordered and sampled was delicious! No skin on the eggplant and bread from Addeo - doesn’t get any better!“

Split the sweet potato pancakes. It was pancake with mashed sweet potato. The pancakes were well made fluffy and moist.
And had the grits with the “fried chicken”
Grits were flavorful, the fried chicken was fried oyster mushrooms and paired really well.

“I was staying in the area and wanted a safe flavorful meal. I tried shahs and was happy w my meal. The guys who made my falafel bowl was very helpful and friendly. The food was good and as expected. Wish the red sauce was spicier but overall it was a good portion and good price for what it is.

“My Daughter graduated yesterday (Mother’s Day) from WCSU. To say that it was a very special day would be an understatement. I decided I wanted to enjoy the day as much as possible, I did not want to cook nor did I want to be rushed out of a restaurant because of the holiday. After seeing a friend’s post recommending DiBella’s Catering, I immediately went to the website to see what their catering menu offered. I was instantly interested and called Destiny to help me customize one of their packages to our needs. Not only was she knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions and offer suggestions, she helped me put together an incredible menu with as much enthusiasm as I had. When my son arrived to pick up our order, it was ready, fresh, beautifully presented and all set for transport. Everything was absolutely delicious from the salads to the cookies! Our guests LOVED everything and I had no problem giving them Destiny’s contact info for their future catering needs when asked. I know I will be calling her again myself. “I have been coming here for years. Most of the items are great but the last 5 or so times that I have come here the chips are so greasy that I can’t eat them. This sucks bc the salsa is great. Also, the restaurant can be pretty cold in the winter as the door is opening and closing a lot.“

“Bari was our amazing waiter. He was serving 10 tables with class and polite table Cordon Bleu style. We returned after 2 years of having a bad experience with Olive Garden. Bari has us returning to eat at Olive garden again. Tasty and on time enjoyed the neverending pasta and soup and salad with bread sticks. Time was about 6 pm in Saturday night. Resurant was clean and kitchen ran smoothly. Large parking lot was almost full.“
