“During lunch break from having to serve jury duty I found this coffee shop down the street and decided to pop in. The two behind the counter were very friendly and inviting, and the special grilled cheese with tomato or bacon with soup was PERFECT . the chicken corn chowder came out piping hot and didn't even need any salt or pepper. I'm usually skeptical when someone has to make my coffee instead of me doing it, but unlike dunkin donuts the gentleman made it just right! they seem to have a familiar and friendly customer fan base, and I would definitely go back again.“

“What a great spot! Perfect location, super easy parking, right in the heart of Broadway! The food was delicious! My husband and I each had a make your own bowl which was so good! We both had the saffron basmati and steak and veggies, Tzatziki sauce, and delicious fig vinaigrette. My kids had burgers and fries and everything was perfect. Very clean, staff was super helpful with recommendations. The kids also loved the chocolate milkshakes and I loved the Hibiscus Lemonade. Definitely worth the trip!“

“I’ve been eating here for years, mainly their cheesesteaks and sometimes a godfather. Their subs are delicious. Tonight I placed a mobile order and they mistakenly put red peppers on my sub instead of the black pepper I asked for. I had to pick them out BUT the restaurant was very kind about it when I called them and could only offer a refund since I ordered online, or to remake it if I drove to pick it up. Unfortunately I had to choose the refund but I will likely just go back and spend the refund there this week because their customer service was great. “Pretty good pizza, slices are HUGE! It's greasy, hot, quick, cheap, and tasty. And I loved every single bite! It was within walking distance of Yale/my hotel, and they are open very, very late. Not a lot of seating (2 tables), so they encourage to go, but the menu is extremely extensive and you will have a hard time making a choice. The prices are very reasonable and you can order everything from pizza, to calzones, to salads, and 4 types of cheesecake. It took maybe 5 mins to hear my pizza up. And they have a self service cooler full of maybe 30 different types of drinks. They have pizza boxes for single slices all the way up to extra large pizzas. Place was very clean and looked like a typical grab and go pizza parlor. Will return!“

“I stopped in twin Pines diner restaurant this morning and picked up a bacon, egg and cheese on a hard roll sandwich. I called ahead and it was ready when I arrived. I was greeted on the phone and in person by friendly people. The sandwich was a little bit pricey, but then again, it was a very good sandwich, so no complaints there. Overall, I’m happy I stopped here and if I’m working in the area in the future, I will definitely consider returning here again.“

“Pretty good tacos, I had steak and cheese and carnitas, my friends got ground beef and queso and my boyfriend got the longanizas taco combo. This steak and cheese one is very American flavor profile, carnitas is very traditional Mexican flavor profile and the longaniza was not that spicy. The chips are really good, super thin, crispy and a little bit greasy but really good. The salsas are good, the queso was good but not spicy at all. They have Mexican sodas, Coca-Cola and jaritos. The restaurant is really small, there were two other groups of two in there and we could all hear each other's conversations. It's very tiny, but the staff is nice and the tacos are good.Vegetarian options: There's decent vegetarian options, and you can ask them to modify most things. We get things modified there all the time. Most of the time it's done correctly, but if you stress that you have an allergy or that you're vegetarian they will make an effort.Dietary restrictions: My boyfriend has an onion allergy and we have ordered from there bunch of times, most of the time it's correct and when I have had to ask them to remake something because there was onion in his dish, it was not a problem.Parking: There's a small handful of spots in a free parking lot, you can also park on the street, but it's a little ways down and you'd have to walk because the side street has a family dollar right next door so you have to park on the other side of that if there's no spots in that tiny lot.“
