First time tested out with slices which were good, then had a surprisingly good penne alla vodka with shrimp- which were cooked to perfection, and tonight I got a Ceaser salad with shrimp and some wings- all really good! “Happy to have sweet green on New Haven. While service has been good, I’ve been disappointed with the greens being wilted sometimes. Also the proteins (tofu, chicken) and ingredients like spicy broccoli are often way over salted.

***12/11 update: whoever is working and preparing the ingredients today did a great job. The chicken is nicely shredded and the cucumbers don’t have big chunks of skin on them, the dressings taste extra fresh. I eat here several times per week and wanted to point out noticeable difference today“

“Our server Devine was amazing and so well poised. The appetizers of meatballs and their charcuterie was presented beautifully. The only issue was with dinner. We got the squid ink pasta and the filet. You could 110% taste the food was high quality and fresh but it missed the mark for us on taste. It lacked so much flavor. If you’re looking for a good simple meal with 5 star service, this is the place but if you’re looking for dishes that the chef cares about flavor and excitement, this restaurant lacks in that. It was a good experience over all but we were just disappointed because there’s so much potential for it to be a restaurant where you go back specifically for that one dish because it tasted so good.“

“During lunch break from having to serve jury duty I found this coffee shop down the street and decided to pop in. The two behind the counter were very friendly and inviting, and the special grilled cheese with tomato or bacon with soup was PERFECT . the chicken corn chowder came out piping hot and didn't even need any salt or pepper. I'm usually skeptical when someone has to make my coffee instead of me doing it, but unlike dunkin donuts the gentleman made it just right! they seem to have a familiar and friendly customer fan base, and I would definitely go back again.“

“There's a good amount of parking in their lot that runs alongside the Farmington Trail. There's indoor and outdoor seating available. Inside is comfortable, with a diner atmosphere in a well maintained and clean restaurant. The food is very good with reasonable sized servings at good prices. Definitely will be back!“

Their home-made potato chips are the best I’ve ever had. Their medium-sliced onion rings are perfection. There’s lots of large windows so every seat in the house has a good view of the beautiful hills surrounding Indian Springs Golf Course. There’s a fire table on the deck that sits 4. For a perfect day out: Go for a hike at Wadsworth Falls Park, then stop by here for a hearty meal and some warm cookies. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Usually their salads are delicious. But today i came by, right when they opened up (prob a mistake) and ordered a crispy chicken salad … My salad was done in about 5 mins …. ( how can chicken be cooked that fast?) Anyway, i tried to eat the salad for dinner. My croutons were stale, the bread was stale and tomatoes along with the cucumbers tasted like theve been sitting out from the night before. I doubt chicken was freshly made. I’m so disappointed. Next time i know not to come right when they open up.“

“The party size pizza has really thin crust. And the extremely thinner parts of the crust were burnt. However, I loved the deep dark red color of the sauce and it was delicious.
Not much parking even for pick up.
It was really cold inside.
However, I'm not giving it a bad rating. I'm just not a fan of the thin crust, if I had known I wouldn't have ordered it.
