“My friend suggested we go to Double Play Café last night after a concert at the Oakdale Theatre. There was a large crowd for a late on a Saturday night, and we sat at a high top table. We were cold from standing outside for a while at the concert and decided to have some hot drinks. I had a coffee. It was delicious. We then ordered some food. I had the avocado, mozzarella, caprice he salad. I enjoyed it very much. It was fresh and had a very nice balsamic glaze on top. I will definitely go back and try some other items on the menu.“
“I ordered, via Uber eats, the Southside Pho with duck, seafood combo and vegetables. Wow! The broth is so authentic! The duck had crispy skin, the scallop was U12, the shrimp was easily U16, and there were 4! The calamari was beautiful, and fresh, crispy veggies:carrot, broccoli, snap peas, mushrooms, bean sprouts. Simply superb!! I asked for extra bean sprouts and Thai basil. Ordered their homemade garlic chili oil and lime on the side. This was wonderful! Now my go to for Pho, and I work in New Haven, so there are plenty of Pho options, but no competition/comparison...well done South Side Thai, well done! I'll be back!!“
“My wife and I had the opportunity for a late lunch today. This was our second trip to the this location. We went back because ALL the employees are extremely professional and there to provide the optimal experience. While we were dining several people came up to us asking if we needed a refill or if there was something else they could do to make our visit the best that it could be. There were a group of people at a larger table and i could see some badges. Chic-fil-a badges. I assumed on of them was the franchises owner and I was able to figure out who he was. This man as he was walking up to the counter and he asked how we were doing. He cared. He listened. It was TODD the owner. We had a great conversation and made us feel welcome. We complemented him on his location. I let him know the fresh waffle fries are what got my attention. Todd, congrats for what you have and what you are doing for your company. “I decided to Pay It Forward, half off, platter to first responders and medical personal. I purchased 4 platters and everything was delivered on time and I was told DELICIOUS!!! Everything was overseen by Danielle, New York/CT Representative. Danielle is wonderful to work with. I do plan to use Dibellas for my school functions!!!“
“Do you remember Gigantes on rt 68 across from Duchess? This crew has taken over, the food is the same and it is the best of the best at good value. I'll be back. Highly recommended. Pasta Fagiol and meatball in a hard roll, seltzer. Holy molly this brings back the best memories of getting a good lunch between getting lots of work done. Keep 'em Rolling!!,“
