First time tested out with slices which were good, then had a surprisingly good penne alla vodka with shrimp- which were cooked to perfection, and tonight I got a Ceaser salad with shrimp and some wings- all really good! “We are good customers that come to the Rocky Hill Salad bar at least a couple times per week. The staff is wonderful, the service is wonderful and most days, the burritos are delicious. Our issue is with consistency. We took off one star on the service because of the lack of consistency. We go for the fresh food served daily. However, when it comes to the "building of the burritos" we can usually tell who has made the burrito because today, for instance, it was so skimpy, I question about going back because it makes us so mad when we get these barely filled burritos. I want to say, the majority of the time, we praise this place, we highly recommend them, because the food is so fresh and tasty and USUALLY, the burritos are bursting at the seams. It all depends on who makes your meal. Today's burritos (all of them) were extremely skimpy. For the amount of money we spent, we don't expect to end up hungry after eating our meal. Like I said, normally we are very satisfied, but someone there (according to all of us) that is known for skimping on the meal. Today was that day. We were all dissatisfied with our burritos. The picture shows the middle of a meat burrito that is suppose to have meat in it, but you can barely see a drop of meat. Normally it's big and fat, today it was like eating a flat lettuce and tomato sandwich.“

If you want to sip margaritas out of a fish bowl and guacamole made table side then Puerto Vallarta and Azteca might be for you. But if you’re looking for the best authentic Mexican fare the Berlin Turnpike has to offer, look no further the Salsa 4 Taqueria! It’s a hole in wall that you would drive by if you weren’t looking for it. I had beef empanadas, a trio of tacos, el pastor, pork belly, and deep fried shrimp. I’ve never been to Mexico but I imagine this is what I would get on the streets there. Be prepared to wait for your food. Empanadas are made to order and the corn taco shells are pressed and cooked to order with a choice of soft or crunchy! The el pastor was very flavorful, pork belly with a nice char on the outside melts in your mouth, the batter fried shrimp were large and delicious, shredded beef in the empanadas was braised to perfection! Sorry for the lack of pictures, I dug in before it crossed my mind. Yes, it’s that good!“

“My neighbor mentioned to me that he and his wife were going to lunch at Pete’s and said he was bringing his in laws. He and his in laws raved about the food. My neighbor said the roast beef (made in house) grinder was amazingly great. That’s my favorite, so I stopped by Pete’s a couple days ago and got the roast beef grinder with provalone cheese, mayo, roasted and banana peppers, shedded lettuce and tomato. It was sooo good that I had to go back in to let them know. Come to find out Pete’s dad made me the grinder. What a nice man!!! Talked to him for a few minutes. “I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was here. I had no idea. All their potato dishes are all delicious, including the sweet potato fries. Their home-made potato chips are the best I’ve ever had. Their medium-sliced onion rings are perfection. There’s lots of large windows so every seat in the house has a good view of the beautiful hills surrounding Indian Springs Golf Course. There’s a fire table on the deck that sits 4. “The pizza here has been outstanding since they have reopened. I love New Haven style pizza, but the newfound popularity has impacted the amount of Greek style Pizza places. This place is one of the best. The service is excellent. When we went they did not serve alcohol but we could bring in and there happens to be a liquor store next to them. My wife and I enjoyed a bottle of wine with our meals. The pizza is a good value, with a large one topping around 30 bucks. It has a nice dining room with booths, but most of their business appears to be takeout. Took about 20 minutes for the pizza, which was perfect! The location, in the center of Middlefield, is convenient for take out, and the slightly thicker slices reheat well!“

“We got the vegan combo grilled wrap with roasted red peppers and without the special veggie mix, but we asked for some on the side when we went in to pick it up. (I’m not a fan of green peppers, and my husband can’t eat raw onions, so this way we could pick and choose. Turns out the green peppers were perfectly fine! They must have mellowed while marinating.). We chose the whole wheat wrap. It had a nice nutty flavor to it.

The “carpaccio” and/or “prosciutto” was quite nice! It was way more tender than most other vegan deli slices I’ve had. (Apparently they import it from Italy). The flavors were excellent!

We waited a few hours before eating it, since we got it for a later lunch as soon as they opened at 10:00 and kept it in a cooler. It was a little soggy in places, but still quite tasty. I definitely recommend it.

“Gyro and pizza fast food restaurant with good seating. It’s listed as two restaurants but it’s all one restaurant with two types of food. On left they have brick oven for pizzas and on right side a gyro and kebab counter. Menu is a bit confusing and hard to read - check out paper menu. They have a lot more options than is apparent from screen on wall. Food was good. Service was friendly.“

“I eat here periodically. It is always good. Quick. If I were to compare it to other-like sub shops (Subway, Potbelly’s, Jimmy John’s, etc.), I’d say it is at the top or tied with Potbelly’s.

I also just used them (through EZ Cater) to cater a work event for 45 people. I ordered 7 platters of grinders. The package came with bags of cookies and pasta, potato, and macaroni salads.

They included 70 bags of chips, sealed containers of mustard, onions, sliced peperonchini, mayonnaise, and 7 bottles of oil for the sandwiches.

I was delighted to find plates, napkins, and plastic utensils among the bags.

Delivery showed up at exactly the time requested.

The entire process was easy, and everything showed up as expected, and with a few pleasant surprises. My team thoroughly enjoyed everything.

I’d also add, that I placed this order within one day of the event. The fact they could support this, in this manner, on such short notice, is nothing short of impressive. Great job!“
