50 Best Salad Restaurants near Rocky Hill

“We are good customers that come to the Rocky Hill Salad bar at least a couple times per week. The staff is wonderful, the service is wonderful and most days, the burritos are delicious. Our issue is with consistency. We took off one star on the service because of the lack of consistency. We go for the fresh food served daily. However, when it comes to the "building of the burritos" we can usually tell who has made the burrito because today, for instance, it was so skimpy, I question about going back because it makes us so mad when we get these barely filled burritos. I want to say, the majority of the time, we praise this place, we highly recommend them, because the food is so fresh and tasty and USUALLY, the burritos are bursting at the seams. It all depends on who makes your meal. Today's burritos (all of them) were extremely skimpy. For the amount of money we spent, we don't expect to end up hungry after eating our meal. Like I said, normally we are very satisfied, but someone there (according to all of us) that is known for skimping on the meal. Today was that day. We were all dissatisfied with our burritos. The picture shows the middle of a meat burrito that is suppose to have meat in it, but you can barely see a drop of meat. Normally it's big and fat, today it was like eating a flat lettuce and tomato sandwich.“

“My neighbor mentioned to me that he and his wife were going to lunch at Pete’s and said he was bringing his in laws. He and his in laws raved about the food. My neighbor said the roast beef (made in house) grinder was amazingly great. That’s my favorite, so I stopped by Pete’s a couple days ago and got the roast beef grinder with provalone cheese, mayo, roasted and banana peppers, shedded lettuce and tomato. It was sooo good that I had to go back in to let them know. Come to find out Pete’s dad made me the grinder. What a nice man!!! Talked to him for a few minutes. I found a place near home that I will be visiting again and again!!! Next time I’m trying a pizza. So many great reviews……I read them all!!!“

“Absolutely love this place.. Great atmosphere, food and staff! Love the outside dining option. I will be back for football season for sure!“

“I always get greated with an aloha as soon as I walk through the door. The employees work very hard and keep the line moving even when it’s busy. The prices are the best out of any other poke restaurant in my area and the food always hits the spot after the gym. I wish they would partner with The edge to give member a discount :)“

“Healthy, Fresh, Delicious Food! Exceptional quality and Super Authentic!!!!“

“I’m a frequent guest at the Chopt in Bishop’s Corner, and it has become one of those places that is genuinely worth the drive from Southington. I brought my mom there recently for her first visit, and she was more than satisfied too.

The restaurant is consistently clean, including the restrooms, and I have never had trouble finding a place to sit. The staff is always friendly and courteous, and they keep the line moving without making the whole thing feel rushed. Online orders have also been ready promptly in my experience. If you are new to Chopt or not quite sure how the ordering process works, the staff is happy to walk you through it or explain the different options without making you feel like you should already know what you’re doing.

The salads are huge, the food is consistently good, and it is a healthier option than most places in the fast-casual category. This is coming from someone who never really understood the point of salad, let alone salad as an actual meal. Chopt changed that for me.

The drink selection is another plus. Instead of the usual wall of sodas, they offer iced teas, lemonades, and other drinks that tend to be on the lighter side, often with some less-common flavors. My personal favorite is the Strawberry Squeeze Chiller.

My mom enjoyed her first visit. Chopt has become a regular stop for me because the food is dependable, the portions are substantial, the place is clean, and the service is consistently pleasant and efficient.“

“Very tasty food specially Chicken over Rice“

“I'm so glad my boyfriend made me go here. I thought it would be just like any walk in restaurant with mediocre food but I was so wrong! I’m an extremely picky eater and absolutely loved everything we got. This is also the first place I’ve been in a long time that actually had good salmon. They’re homemade dressing and marinate is so unique we went back in to buy a bottle after trying it with the complimentary salad we were given. 10/10 would go again!“

“Chance provided exceptional service despite all of my questions. He created a custom spin on the seasonal special salad they had to fit exactly what I was looking for and it was delicious. Wonderful experience being my first time, will be coming back again !“

“Parsley in Middletown is a go-to for fresh, flavorful Mediterranean food. From crispy falafel and juicy shawarma to vibrant salads and homemade sauces, every bite is satisfying and made with care. The Family Mixed Grill is a highlight—perfect for sharing, it comes piled with tender shish kebab, chicken and lamb kebabs, and perfectly grilled lamb chops. Generous portions and bold seasoning make it a must-try. Don’t skip dessert—the homemade kunafa is warm, gooey, and deliciously crisp. Pair it with their baklava or ma’amoul cookies for a sweet finish. For a more relaxed experience, head to the cozy second-floor dining room—great for enjoying your meal in a quieter setting. Friendly service and consistently great food make Parsley a true gem on Main Street.“

“It’s so awesome to have this wonderful healthy option! First visit and I am super impressed. I created my own salad with chicken. The amount of chicken is very generous and the salad options are fresh and many. Highly recommend and I for sure will be back!“

“I’ve been going to this pizzeria recently with my family after work and it’s honestly the friendliest place I’ve been to and the pizza is just as good as it isn’t overly greasy or doughy, just recently my family’s car wouldn’t start and they were beyond helpful
and kind to us every staff member tried their best to help,
Truly the best pizzeria around“

“I’ve been loving Zirios for a long time but I’m getting very upset with paying more and getting less ingredients, I mean real stingy. Sausage or meat ball, disappointed!“

“Tried today for the first time! a little surprised it was in the food court, but FRESH, DELICIOUS Salad, (I had the Harvest Salad), customer service was great,(Jennifer very personable). I will be back for sure!“

“I really love Chick-fil-A, and it’s always my first choice when I’m craving fried chicken. Unfortunately, this time there was something in my sandwich that made the experience a little unpleasant. I’m hoping it was just a one-time issue, because I’ve always enjoyed coming here before.“

“I have never seen baklava and kanafa this big at restaurants at this price range.. it’s a bit dangerous for your scale and wallet. Had the lamb meal- I really appreciated the deep flavoring without overwhelming spices. It really felt like a nice home cooked meal! Would love to come back and try all the menus.“

“First time trying Leo’s. Delicious pizza, had the Sicilian thick crust lasagna pizza, it was loaded with toppings and absolutely scrumptious. Also very friendly staff. Will definitely be back!“

“great food friendly staff just a peaceful environment I definitely will be back“

“Pizza and wings were delicious!“

“If you’re looking for Mexican food on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington, you have choices. If you want to sip margaritas out of a fish bowl and guacamole made table side then Puerto Vallarta and Azteca might be for you. If you want fast food from chain restaurants then there’s Chipotle and Moe’s. But if you’re looking for the best authentic Mexican fare the Berlin Turnpike has to offer, look no further the Salsa 4 Taqueria! It’s a hole in wall that you would drive by if you weren’t looking for it. I had beef empanadas, a trio of tacos, el pastor, pork belly, and deep fried shrimp. I’ve never been to Mexico but I imagine this is what I would get on the streets there. Be prepared to wait for your food. Empanadas are made to order and the corn taco shells are pressed and cooked to order with a choice of soft or crunchy! The el pastor was very flavorful, pork belly with a nice char on the outside melts in your mouth, the batter fried shrimp were large and delicious, shredded beef in the empanadas was braised to perfection! Sorry for the lack of pictures, I dug in before it crossed my mind. Yes, it’s that good!“

“Stopped by 1851 and had a fantastic time. The staff was super friendly, welcoming, and attentive right from the start.
The drinks were delicious and well-crafted, making it an easy spot to hang out and unwind. While we didn’t order any food this visit, everything coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled incredible—we'll definitely be back to try a few dishes next time.
The outdoor cornhole was such a great touch and added a fun, lively energy to the whole place. Perfect spot for great drinks, good company, and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend!“

“I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was here. I had no idea. All their potato dishes are all delicious, including the sweet potato fries. Their home-made potato chips are the best I’ve ever had. Their medium-sliced onion rings are perfection. There’s lots of large windows so every seat in the house has a good view of the beautiful hills surrounding Indian Springs Golf Course. There’s a fire table on the deck that sits 4. For a perfect day out: Go for a hike at Wadsworth Falls Park, then stop by here for a hearty meal and some warm cookies. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Love this place, perfect lunch spot while working on the road. The steak sandwich. It is quite different from most places. This is not shaved steak, but cut very thinly. They roast your own peppers, which are excellent. There veal cutlet is also very good. They offer hot plates throughout the week that changes every day. It's a very authentic italian deli“

“Definitely a must try food is very good highly recommend very friendly staff“

“Always one of our favorites!!“

“Panini was good but the accommodation to me being celiac (Gluten free) was great! They switched to new gloves without asking and when they accidentally touched regular bread they made a whole new panini without even asking. They also wrap the panini in tin foil before pressing. One of the best gluten free experiences I’ve had for a fast food-esque restaurant!“

“This place has amazing ćevapi and delicious pizzas. I’ve been coming here for quite some time, and they never disappoint. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and always hits the spot. If you haven’t tried this place yet, I highly recommend stopping by you won’t be disappointed!“
