“Mae Kong is a great littleThai restaurant . The owner cares about her food and it shows . It is a small place tasteful but simple atmosphere . I have eaten here for many years . It is one of the few restaurants in downtown New Britain that has withstood the rest of time. While many others have come and gone Mae Kong survives. The menu is varied and contains many Thai dishes you won't find elsewhere . I have Tom Yum Khoong soup, the Larb, Pad-See-ew, a couple of Prik dishes, the green, Panang and Mussaman curries as well as several other dishes . All ver excellent. S solid and relatable Thai restaurant. It's BYOB.“
“I recently ordered the Joe Rogan x Elon Musk special (Anchovies + Pineapple) and the hype is real! Great taste and flavor combo. Thank you Peppino’s team for making this happen for me.Be warned, you must like anchovies if you are going to try this pizza, other than that…fantastic combo and will order again.“
“My family has had their pizza, platonos con crema, burrito bowl and their French fries. Everything is unbelievable, even the fries are seasoned and delicious. The pizza is our new favorite in Bristol and their specialty dishes are AMAZING! “
“First time ordering I saw this restaurant on a Instagram! ordered a wrap and mozz sticks. Everything was fresh and prepared perfectly. I had order delivery and it was packaged well and delivered fast. Thank you to the establishment team for having such a cool pizza spot. I will be in to try the pizza soon! Can’t wait! Thank you!“
“I got a combo plater chicken and lamb over rice, peppers, onions, black beans, Salata salad with white sauce on top! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice clean modern decor. Easy to order, great portions. It was filling and tasty. First time trying this type of food and man I'm hooked!“
“On the road, between Massachusetts where we spent a few days in January 2024, and JFK airport, we visited Wethersfield, a small historic town in Connecticut. The place is charming, especially on Main Street, where you can find a range of attractive businesses. Our favorite remains Lenoci's Italian Kitchen, a real pizzeria set up in a small house.Big surprise when we entered, seeing part of the local Italian-American community seated there! The pizzas are very generous and made on site in dedicated ovens. For a little over $40 for 3 people, we really enjoyed ourselves. I chose Lenoci's Spinach Special with spinach, potatoes, sausages and mozzarella in a small size: it's the equivalent of a family pizza in Paris. I recommend it, but we had to take half the order with us in packages because we were full!Very pleasant and available service. It is very possible that we will come back next time, if the opportunity arises, and when the temperatures are milder ?...“

The pizza thin crust excellent taste Mozzarella sticks were out of this world, And the meatballs were excellent also. The customer service was Excellent. Nick Our server was on point with everything we ask thanks nick.“
“Food: amazing his crust is perfect the sauce is an experience of flavor combined with the subtle over tone of sweetness. Now my office orders pizza from the location so if eatin it in the past. Today I had the privilege of visiting the location and assuming meet the owner with 2 others behind the counter. I said his sauce was amazing we started chatting and I don’t know how but we started talking about how I was going to see my father in recovering from medieval issue and wanted to surprise him with some great New Haven pie.(my father was raise on Wooster street so he knows and loves pizza) He than proceeds to say the pizza is on the house. I was like no please let me pay he said it’s on me. This was first interaction with this man in person and I can say nothing but what are you waiting for go get a pizza pie or whatever else is in the menu because it’s worth it!“
“Cool hidden spot with a nice variety of Authentic Mex food !Vegetarian options: Many substitutes for most item on the menuParking: Open / safe more than 20 availableKid-friendliness: Small and a few tables to sitWheelchair accessibility: Flat & easy access“
“Best pizza, customer service is amazing. The owner is amazing very personable. I’ve been going here for over 13 years and still The only pizza place to brings home to my heart coming from NY!!!! Plus all the other options Are freaking amazing!!!!“
“My new favorite sandwich spot! I got the #1 breakfast sandwich which is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Well put together with spinach, red onions and a sauce you normally wouldn’t find on a breakfast Sammie. The Portuguese roll is the perfect choice for that. My partner got the Bronx Bomber pastrami sandwich which was quickly devoured. We will definitely be back!“
“Hidden in the corner, somewhere in Newington. Tokyo Cafe was a pleasantly delicious and wholesome surprise. My partner and I decided to venture out and try somewhere new and we may have just found our new regular spot. The dining room doesn’t have too much seating (6-8 tables max) and I would definitely consider it an intimate but cozy vibe. We frequent sushi of all calibers, this isn’t meant to be compared to Nobu or other establishments of the sort. It is an excellent neighborhood sushi restaurant. The food was fresh and delectable . My partner really enjoyed the Kani Salad as an appetizer. She said it was unique in taste and refreshing. I had a house salad with ginger dressing and the miso soup which was just what I wanted and what you would expect. We also shared the Pepper Tuna Tataki ??? absolutely delightful. I must mention all from the dressing to the consistency of the kani salad, this wasn’t the generic all you can eat, run of the mill spot. The very nice lady that waited on us was very attentive and put care into her work. The Sushi Itamae delivered with a beautiful presentation and construction of the “Sushi Sashimi Combo 4 Us”. We finished the meal off with some fried ice cream and left happy and full. I would recommend this place and we will be returning.“
“Ordered doordash so can't speak to atmosphere but the chicken cutlet sandwich they made me was worth writing this review for. So worth the money in size, quality, and value. They were out of the bread I ordered, so they made me a panini. It was outrageously good. I've never had a bad sandwich or meal from this place.“
“The word "hidden gem" is throw around often in the foodie world. So often enough, that it's almost annoying when people use it because when you go to the business's Yelp page they have 10,000+ reviews. Lol. Well, it's obviously not hidden very well is it? Anyway, Salsas 4 Taqueria IS a hidden gem, but hidden in plain sight...Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right in a old-looking plaza with a state credit union, a regular bank and a learning center of sorts is this gem. The outside just doesn't look like much and the sign isn't too elaborate either. There is parking out front of course since it's in a plaza so there's nothing to worry about. Once inside it's just like a traditional Mexican spot. Dimly lit, colorful walls painted with the colors of the Mexican flag, cheap wooden chairs and exposed brick. It's exactly what you want to see from a place like this.Service: I've never eaten inside the restaurant because I always order online. This place doesn't even have its own website because they don't need it. You can order online through various services, but I personally go through Yelp. So I just go in, give my name and my order is usually ready.Food: So on their menu is something I've never seen before called a tlayuda. It's a handmade dish in traditional Oaxacan cuisine, consisting of a large, thin, crunchy, partially fried or toasted tortilla covered with a spread of refried beans, asiento (unrefined pork lard), lettuce or cabbage, avocado, meat (usually shredded chicken, beef tenderloin or pork), Oaxaca cheese, and salsa. Tlayudas are typical of Oaxaca and receive their name thanks to the particular texture of the tortilla. Unlike a soft tortilla, like those we usually see at taco stands or in the store, tlayudas are usually larger, heavier, and more consistent than a soft tortilla. They offer 4 types and I went with the Guelaquetza Tlayuda which is protein heavy filled with carne asada, chorizo, and al pastor. This this is SO DENSE and so delicious! I'm 5'9", 260 pounds and I could only eat half of this thing. It was so filling and I LOVED IT. It's the only thing I've ever eaten from here. Lol.Value: The Guelaquetza Tlayuda is $18.00 and 100% worth it. Period.I loved this place! It's nearby to where I live so I plan on paying this place many more visits in the near future!“
“I ordered takeout as I work right down the street! Food was delicious and the portion size was perfect (Thai Peanut wrap!).I picked up my food and the very busy worker even made a point to thank me for ordering!Vegetarian options: They have tofu as a protein option!Dietary restrictions: So many options!“
“Awesome place to eat. The staff are really nice and professional. The place is always clean and tidy.Vegetarian options: All options can be made vegetarian.Parking: Tiny but enough space.Kid-friendliness: N/AWheelchair accessibility: Nice wheelchair ramp“
“Grinders don't get any better than at Claudia's. I've tried their Roast Beef and Turkey Grinders and they're absolutely the best. An 8 inch sandwich easily feeds 2 adults. A must stop every time I'm visiting Farmington.“
“Mediterranean food is one of my favorite cuisines out there and Crazy Greek is a hidden gem that you should absolutely try out. When I came back from a trip to Greece in 2016, I was craving authentic gyros and these are hands down the best ones around. I get the lamb gyro with Greek fries on the side which are a huge staple! It's small inside but cozy and clean, the staff is friendly too. #supportlocal #eatlocal“
“Couldnt even take pictures because of how fast I ate my food lol. I must say this food is amazing amazing amazing. I went and got fried pork and yellow rice and everything was so flavorful and prepared with angel hands. If I would scale there food on a scale of 1-10 it would break the scale at a billion. Thank you for providing top tier customer service and helping me pick out what I want to eat. God bless!!Parking: Lots of open parkingKid-friendliness: Great place to eat if u wanna enjoy your day outside and with the field right there.“
“Service was amazing, beyond polite, the presentation of the food was one of the nicest I’ve ever seen in my life. The 24k tomahawk steak was to die for, all 3 sides tasted amazing, they also went off menu to accommodate me for a side. 10/10 everything.“
“I tried their breakfast burrito and churros. The burrito was flavorful and had a good amount of food. I think they should give sauce with the burrito. Very nice young lady who took my order. The churros were delicious. This is take out only, I recommend calling ahead to put your order in. As most items are made to order.“
“Best tuna grinders and salad!! Today was the first time I met Pete’s son and was super friendly and welcoming. Have loved their food since they were in the Wilson location. Highly recommend! Great staff, great food we will definitely be back.“
“Highly recommend! Came in to grab some slices and they were so yummy. Jay was incredibly kind to us and helpful to accommodate some special food needs we had. The buffalo chicken slice had chunks of blue cheese and was so flavorful. All 3 slices we got were delicious. Dying to try their Big Mac slices. The closest I’ve seen to nyc in terms of pizza by the slice. Slices were big and so yummy. Thanks so much!!! We will definitely be back!“
“Parking: Besides wings I also ordered a chicken parm grinder, baked ziti. Everything was fantastic will order from Angelina's again. As a matter of fact calling there today so the can have ingredients for a Shepard pie pizza for me on Friday.“
“Love the food it is very tasty and yummy Love there cool chicken wrap with the avocado ranch lime dressing I highly recommend it the food is fresh and the staff is amazing and the place is very clean I would recommend to all of my family and friends“
“Alex was a delight, she absolutely knows how to find common ground & communicate with customers that make you feelat home. It was my 2nd time coming to your establishment & not disappointed. I did not want a meal just something light & Alex recommended the clam chowder and I must say it was the best I've had in a long time. Thanks for the hospitality & great food.Tony R.“
“Richard is the best employee I have ever interacted with at Pokeworks. I first met him at the Pokeworks in Glastonbury. After they closed, I was thrilled to see him working at the West Hartford location. Richard is always extremely polite, accommodating, and has the BEST attitude all the time. Thank you Richard!“
“Enjoyed the fried eggplant appetizer, something different and never had it before. My swordfish lunch was okay. I was asked how I wanted it cooked and it was the first, so obviously I wanted it cooked well and asked for it to be well-done which was a big mistake. It was way overcooked and dry. But the lemon parsley sauce saved it. BF enjoyed his burger. Place was a little busy. But service was attentive. I'd be back and try something else when in the area.“
“first impression was that the store was well maintained and had a nice and welcoming ambiance to it! it has beautiful decor and a neat tic-tac-toe game placed for convenience. the drinks seemed a bit pricey but the taste of mine made it absolutely worthwhile. i had the berry goodness smoothie the other day and the flavor was immaculate. it was just a bit too sugary than i would've liked but i presume that's just the natural sugars in the berries. the texture was just right and made up for it though. very refreshing. i definitely recommend this shop for anyone who needs a fruitful refresher.“
“My husband and I have -never- been able to agree on a pizza place, but we found a unicorn in Leo's. Everything we've had (including Grinders and pasta dishes) have been delicious, with generous portions. The ricotta pizza is one of the best I've ever had.“
“Such a great place to eat! I’ve gone there countless times, and have also gotten takeout/door dash. Their white and green curry is the best I’ve ever had, and other friends stand by this as well. Their pad Thai lunch specials make appetizers and drinks super affordable, so be sure to take advantage when you can. I love love love Prai.“
“I was coming from work and even though I made it within 15min of closing, the customer service was amazing. The girl who made my food was very kind and patient, even giving me recommendations for my wrap. They weren't pushy for me to leave or to shovel my food down, while they were cleaning and getting ready to close. It's the little things in life to have a nice experience like that, will be going back for sure. Not to mention the prices are better than comparable restaurants, and the food tastes way fresher. You really can't beat the Salad Bar, highly recommend.“
“Deliscious! Fresh and made to order classic style grinders. Excellent prices. Staff is friendly and helpful. Old-school feel. Highly recommendedVegetarian options: Veggie grinders, eggplant Parmigian etc.Parking: Small lot in front of store.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is level with parking lot.Dietary restrictions: Build your grinders as you like.“
“I've been ordering takeout from here for what seems like forever, so we decided to eat in. People yelling, kids running around and screaming, I think I'd stick to take out. The noise level is so high you can't even hear the waitress.“
“I recently ordered the House Meat Gyro Sandwich. It was delicious. It could have benefited from a bit more of their included tzatziki sauce, but it was still very good. Decent size gyro... Not the largest gyro I've received from places, not the smallest. Quick. This was the highlight. I called and asked, and the girl told me 10 minutes! Good and quick service over the phone and in person. This is one of those evaluations where I'm a bit torn between two ratings. I'd rate 4.5 stars if I could. However, I'm going to be pulled to rate one less star than 5 due to the cost. $12.99 for one delicious gyro is a bit more expensive than most similar gyros I've ordered. I ordered mine to go, so seeing tax on food ordered for carry out when I'm from Ohio seemed crazy to me lol. Actually brought the total for one gyro to-go to $13.94. Come on, Connecticut, stop stealing from the citizens! Seemed like a cool place inside.“
“We ordered tostones (flattened fried green plaintains) as appetizers. Then we had shrimp fried rice (a generous portion) and fried chicken with white rice and side salad... they were amazing! We definitely recommend this spot, especially if you have time before attending an event at The Bushnell. It is just a quick walk down the street.“
“Just going to repeat what others have already said: great food, fairly priced, support local businesses, the owner is a lovely and hardworking woman, her peeps are all great as well, the food is delish. And they know how to hustle, do not freak out of there is a line when you get there because it will move fast. And the food is freakin awesome, did I already say that? Photo shows how it looks mid-destruction when I am cranking through it to make a noon meeting. Love these folks!“
“Some of the best food I had in a while from a chain restaurant at not a wallet shattering price. Very friendly waiter even when I made a mistake in my order. I love the casual but definitely respect attitude they got over there. Would recommend if you're near and hungry.Vegetarian options: Big ol salad bar“
“My favorite Thai restaurant currently in the greater Hartford area. The food reminds me of my mom's cooking. I make the trip from Hartford To New Britain whenever I want a piece of home. This small quaint restaurant packs a punch and doesn't hold back on flavor. While some places water down the flavor to cater to a broader audience Mai (the owner) chefs it up as if she is in her home kitchen cooking for family. You taste the loving in her cooking. There is limited seating but when you get the chance order a few dishes with friends or family and share the meal Thai style. You can always order in advance and pick up or utilize a delivery service. You won't be disappointed. Ask for Mai (pronounced May) and tell her Ty sent you. She will make sure you're taken care of.“
