“Loved the tea! I had the strawberry jasmine bubble tea. I’ve had bubble tea from many locations from South Windsor to West Hartford to Hamden and this is by far the best tea I’ve had and the tapioca “bubbles” were fun as always. Definitely worth the try and we will be back.”

“I just went to Country Kitchen and bought 2 chili cheese hot dogs for my co-worker and myself, it was "hot dog" day after all :-) Our office staff has gone there many times and loves the food. The mom and her son, Dave are so sweet! Nice to see a family business. Not only do you get GREAT food, but great service with a smile! “The best Chinese food in the area. I drive out of my way to get this food, been a loyal customer since I was a kid. I do miss their indoor dining experience, I loved taking my friends there to dine. I'd recommend the Tso Chicken, eggrolls, wanton soup and the Hunan half duck. I do hope the bring back the indoor dining.”

“My neighbor mentioned to me that he and his wife were going to lunch at Pete’s and said he was bringing his in laws. He and his in laws raved about the food. My neighbor said the roast beef (made in house) grinder was amazingly great. That’s my favorite, so I stopped by Pete’s a couple days ago and got the roast beef grinder with provalone cheese, mayo, roasted and banana peppers, shedded lettuce and tomato. It was sooo good that I had to go back in to let them know. Come to find out Pete’s dad made me the grinder. What a nice man!!! Talked to him for a few minutes. I found a place near home that I will be visiting again and again!!! Next time I’m trying a pizza. So many great reviews……I read them all!!!”

“I ordered a pull apart bridal cupcake dress and cookies for my daughter’s bridal shower. The cupcakes were made in 4 different flavors that were moist, a good size, and delicious! Some cupcakes were decorated as blue flowers to surround the dress. It was a beautiful presentation. The cookies shaped and decorated as a bridal dress, an engagement ring and a Miss to Mrs plaque were the best! I recommend this bakery for any of your sweet desires. The staff was very easy to work with.”

“We’ve been searching for a new Indian restaurant after our favorite place went out of business. We went to Bhog tonight for the first time for our anniversary and loved it! Our server was so welcoming and friendly. She recommended the Cauliflower Manchurian for an appetizer, and it was delicious. Both of our meals were excellent as well. We will be back!”

“If you want a good fresh deli sandwich, this is the place! It’s not much to look at, but the food is always super fresh and the staff is always friendly. They also get the food out super quick at lunch even if they’re super busy. Always a good choice!”

“Went there for my wife's birthday. We had the Salad Bar, Escargot, and Prime Rib. Great Salad Bar and it was the best Prime Rib we have had in a long time. Definitely will be going back.”

“We are good customers that come to the Rocky Hill Salad bar at least a couple times per week. The staff is wonderful, the service is wonderful and most days, the burritos are delicious. Our issue is with consistency. We took off one star on the service because of the lack of consistency. We go for the fresh food served daily. However, when it comes to the "building of the burritos" we can usually tell who has made the burrito because today, for instance, it was so skimpy, I question about going back because it makes us so mad when we get these barely filled burritos. I want to say, the majority of the time, we praise this place, we highly recommend them, because the food is so fresh and tasty and USUALLY, the burritos are bursting at the seams. It all depends on who makes your meal. Today's burritos (all of them) were extremely skimpy. For the amount of money we spent, we don't expect to end up hungry after eating our meal. Like I said, normally we are very satisfied, but someone there (according to all of us) that is known for skimping on the meal. Today was that day. We were all dissatisfied with our burritos. The picture shows the middle of a meat burrito that is suppose to have meat in it, but you can barely see a drop of meat. Normally it's big and fat, today it was like eating a flat lettuce and tomato sandwich.”

“Overall, I had a good experience at The Common House Kitchen & Bar. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was comfortable and enjoyable. Most of the food was very good, although a few menu items advertised fries, onion rings, or berries as included, but they weren't. The chicken pasta was a bit disappointing and lacked flavor, but everything else we ordered was well prepared and enjoyable. I'd still come back and try more items from the menu.”

“You want to talk about a hidden seafood GEM with a VIEW? Just come here. It gives off shoreline picnic table vibes overlooking the ct river just feet away. You can watch the boats go by and the oldest ferry in the United States! The food is slightly pricey but I promise you will get what you pay for in portions. Best lobster roll I have had in YEARS. Hot food was hot and cold food was cold. Everything was made to order. Service was quick and friendly. Does it get better than that?!”

I worked with Deb, who was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process. Not only is she incredibly talented and created a beautiful (and delicious!) cake and assisted with matching cookies, but she was also so pleasant, accommodating, patient, helpful, and a pleasure to work with.

Deb went above and beyond — she called me before and after hours, offered to help source a custom topper when I wasn’t sure I could get one shipped in time, and even offered to stay late for pickup. She truly made the entire experience easy and enjoyable.

“I had an amazing meal at Jamaica Kitchen in Rock Hill! The curry goat was tender, flavorful, and seasoned to perfection. The oxtail was fall-off-the-bone delicious with rich, authentic Jamaican flavors in every bite.

A special thank you to Sham for providing outstanding customer service. She was friendly, attentive, and made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. Great food and excellent service—I’ll definitely be back!”

“I’ve eaten here many times. And while the food is good… the wait staff are rude and slow. Yesterday afternoon I ordered take out for the first time. I arrive home only to realize that the entire order was wrong. It was as if they just gave me whatever they chose to place in the bag. I returned to the restaurant with the order and was given no explanation even after I asked several times if they had given me someone else’s order. The manager actively chose not to answer my inquiry. The manager then decided to ring up my order again and charge me an extra 12$ for my order … never acknowledging how they got my order so completely wrong in the first place or acknowledging the time and gas I wasted because of their mistake or explaining that I was mistakenly given someone else’s order. While the food is good… the service and their attitude needs a readjustment. Frankly… the all you can eat in Glastonbury is better quality and much friendlier service. I won’t be back to this place and won’t be recommending it to anyone that I work with … which happens to be less than a mile down the road.

*** I’ve given this restaurant another try 3 times since my last post and all 3 times the staff have been better than they were last year. Today I spoke with the manager, Yoyo, and she was so exceptionally nice and pleasant. I told her how I’d been back in 3 times since my last post and the food was good and the staff seemed more respectful and attentive. For anyone reading this … I would amend my rating to a 4 star.”

“Best starbucks in all of CT. All of the baristas are amazing. Addison Rae is the best and friendliest person ever. My coffee is always made correct and with care. The manager of this location is amazing as well and she will even give my son an extra cake pop. We only come here and now we go inside due to the great service instead of the drive thru.”

“We celebrated Thanksgiving 2025 at Casa Mia. The ambience was lovely. The food offered was a family style four course meal. I ate so many yummy warm rolls, I barely had room for dinner for dinner. The staff had a lot of customers to serve for the seating and the provided outstanding service. The restaurant manager was personally greeting customers and ensuring they were happy with their meals. Keep up the good work!”
