“First time here, but I was very impressed by the food and service. I'm trying to eat a more plant-based diet and the veggie quesadilla was not only delicious, but extremely satisfying and filling. One of a few places that actually have blue cheese stuffed olives for martinis! Will definitely stay here again!“

“This place was a really pleasant surprise. Service is quick and attentive. The food is fire and the vibes are on point. Friday after work the place is full of everyone enjoying a meal and a drink. We ordered the hangover burger and the fire man. We forgot to specify how to cook the meat, and it came out a perfect medium rare. Delicious burgers that melt in your mouth, and some solid sides to go along with it. Forgot to take a photo, bhr let's just say I cleaned my plate. As other reviews say, the parking SI very unique to say the least. It doesn't appear to have a lot of space, but as you circle around you'll find plenty of parking. Might be hard to come by because the block is busy, but you'll be fine. Bathroom urinal is an interesting set up but gets the job done. Food came out super quick too. I'd recommend this spot, especially for happy hour which has some good deals.Parking: Lots of space all around the whole building. Shared with other stores for the mini Plaza.Kid-friendliness: There seemed to be some families with a range of kids with them.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp, no stairs.“

“I wanted to visit my ex coworker Zach @ J Gilberts and maybe get a Burger cuz that's what I had my only time there and its one of the best burgers I've ever had. Plus I didnt want to go too crazy. But when I got there Zach told me about the 16Oz Dry Aged Kansas City Strip Steak Special that they had. I decided to go all out cuz I wantedto see if their steaks measured up to their reputation. Zach recommended a Pinot Noir from Washington that was a perfect pairing for the steak. I gotta say the green beans that I had with a jam and crumbled pecans were insanely good with the garlic mashed potatoes. AND the steak had a nice charred exterior with a perfect juicy medium rare interior. I decided to treat myself and if you are ever thinking of doing the same go to J Gilberts and ask for Zach....you won't be disappointed....you will have one of your best restaurant experiences of your life!“

“Had a huge burger, perfectly cooked, must have been flamed broiled as it had those nice crispy bits that can't be replicated with anything but fire. The pulled pork mac & cheese was great too, heaping portion of a nice creamy mac topped with pulled pork, bbq sauce, and finished with toasted bread crumbs. First timer, was there for Tuesday night pool league, had live music and good food, give it a whirl.“

“My wife and I had our first dinner at Vinted Wine Bar tonight. My wife has had a good amount of experience at Vinted, but it was my first time there. Top to bottom... TRULY EXCELLENT!! We shared a nice bottle of Daou Cab while sitting at the bar, and started with the Whipped Hummus, with Crispy Scallion Cake. Best Hummus you'll ever eat, and the warm crispy thin cake slices are very delicious with the Hummus. Terrific! Then we split and shared 2 entrees: The Chicken Milanese, and the Vinted Prime Burger. Both, also super delicious. Rich, flavorful, perfectly prepared by the talented crew in the kitchen lead by the executive chef, and partner, Mike Voight. Ate every bite of everything. Lastly, for desert we shared the Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake. Holy cow, that is one incredible desert. Our bartender Chris was very helpful, friendly, and although busy had time to talk with us. And we found all the staff, extremely personable. Mike has a finely tuned ship in Vinted. We'll be back. #impressed“

“Dante and the crew hosted the Wolf Pack Booster Club and the Providence Bruins Fan Club for family dinner yesterday! It was awesome. The food was amazing, the service was awesome and the experience was great. I appreciated that they were able to accomodate a large group before a big game. Awesome Cheeseburger pizza as always!! The garlic knots and the meatballs were also amazing!“

“I was surprised when we got there, looks like a super typical town-y pizza place tucked in a somewhat dingy plaza. The inside is bright, clean, and not at all what I expected. The service was friendly and very fast. There was a steady stream of patrons but staff kept up well, all seemed to be having a good time. The meatballs in vodka sauce were delicious. Fettuccini Carbonara was flavorful and well balanced. I personally would have had more sauce, but I will just request that for next time. Ravioli are huge and generously stuffed. Highly recommended for a high quality Italian experience in an unassuming location.“

“The ambience was very welcoming and high end. We had just come from dropping our son off to college in the area and was uneasy about the dress code but they were more than welcoming. The food was outstanding but the service... (Jason) went above and beyond. After driving so far and spending the day moving our son in this was just what we needed. We had the oysters , tuna tartare, lobster pierogies for starters ! Delicious! For dinner my daughter had the dry aged burger and she loved it . I had the surf and turf ( amazing) my husband had the prime NY strip. Cocktails were great. “Great wait staff! Pros- Service was excellent! Many of food items were delicious- puff pastry, pate, panzanella salad, halibut, scallops, crème brûlée, chocolate mousse. Cons- tried to seat us at back table next to restrooms (common experience for older women); we asked for window seating and they accommodated. “Hamachi Crudo-Thai basil, peanut, strawberry”was over-sauced, sauce was heavy, had many jalapeños!; all disguised delicate flavor of fish.“

“I took my wife here for a second birthday dinner last summer. We had received a gift certificate from a friend. Best clams casino I ever had. The lasagna was awesome and the portion was more than Icould eat. My wife said her meal was excellent. Our waitress was very personable, accommodating and made the dining experience here very enjoyable. The only reason we haven't been back is just that you get busy and time has a habit of slipping away.“

“This spot is one of my go to restaurants. The food is creative and locally sourced, there are fun specials, the cocktails are hit/miss. Service depends on how busy the restaurant is, it seems like the servers get relatively large sections so when it's busy you might not see your server for a while but they are very attentive when you can get a hold of them. The dessert and coffee is always very good!“

“I usually love their pizza but I would recommend going there in person for it or double checking it lately. Ordering online doesn't work since its hard to customize pizzas and ots a 10 minute longer wait minimum. We got 2 pizzas for pick up ordered over the phone. 1st the girl was handling more than one phone at a time so not really knowing if we had her full attention. 2nd we ordered the oozy egg no proscute with an extra egg instead. there was no proscute but also no extra egg and the eggs were on only half the pizza. my hubby asked for a side of red pepper flakes they gave him .5oz, kind of stingy. the 2 pizzas came to $38+ and at that price they could at least pay attention and get the order right. Even if they might have been busy, at least do a quality check or read the order back to the customer so it is right.“

“Red rock is a great place to gather and have a delicious meal. They have great rotating specials and a menu that can accommodate a wide array of diets. Some of my favorite items they serve are eggplant Parmesan, their homemade hummus, all of their salads, and any pasta dish they serve.“

“This is an excellent place for authentic Polish food. The Belvedere platter is great if you can’t make up your mind and the Hungarian goulash is fantastic. Only drawback to this place is the early closing time but it’s worth planning your day around.“

“I really enjoyed this spot. Almost couldn't find it as there's no real signage outside. It is dark, as others have mentioned. But it definitely helps with the vibe. The little book they have the drink menu in is so cute! The man who took our order was very kind & had no issues making me a great mocktail! Very delicious. We had pulled chicken sliders, which were lemon pepper wet with some type of slaw. A little spicy, which usually is not my thing, but I liked these. It's served with kettle cooked chips. Now that I live in the South, I find myself jonesing for the First and Last grilled sausage and peppers, served with side of shells in marinara. It rarely gets better than this, even if you find the real Italian sausage; I've been living in Charleston, a foodie paradise, but I have yet to find the real, homemade salsiccia that you get at First and Last, or buy at D&D market, close by. So mangia Hartford, and pray that this place never changes!“

“I've been coming to AJ's for over 20 years. literally every time I have friends from out of town visit me and want to have a drink and some good bar food we go to AJ's. every single one of my out-of-town friends always says this is the best bar food they've ever had in their life. I literally have friends who call me up to come to Meriden just to have food from AJ's. my kids are addicted to the food at AJ's as well . I can honestly say if I ever move out of Connecticut, AJ's is one of the very few restaurants that I would ever truly miss and want to stop by if I come back to Connecticut for a visit. “So, I don’t often visit pizzerias or pizza restaurants but given that I am traveling and on an expensive account with a budget, I decided to check out this place rather than spend $50-$100 on a meal here in West Hartford for lunch. I wastremendously pleased. First off, the service is impeccable. Now granted, there weren’t many people in the place and I was given very personal attention. The selection of pizzas was delectable. I chose a fig pizza which I often order figgy flatbread at home, and it was outstanding. In addition, I got a side kale Caesar salad, which was to die for. I never thought that walking into a little pizzeria Would result in such a nice meal. If you’re in West Hartford, you absolutely must visit this place.“
