“Max Burger is a good solid choice for burgers and salads. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting and the staff friendly and accommodating.

The food is quite good with a nice selection of burgers along with protein alternatives like tuna and turkey. They also have vegan options should that be your jam. Salads a good but they have slowly gotten smaller over time. One can assume this is to keep profit margins solid. What is nice is they source from many local suppliers.

They offer a decent selection of drafts as well cocktails and NA selections.

“We were told the wait would be 30-40mins which was fine. We provided our number for text and waited. At the 45min mark my husband checked for our status and they had texted us 15mins prior... except the number wasn't ours. Not even close. We then waited another 15mins to be seated. He has allergies (just chili peppers) which is a pain for staff so we appreciate them checking everything but food came out bare bones (tots app was literally plain tater tots, for example. To their credit, they took it off the bill. Our waitress's service was terrible. After waiting an hour to sit, it took over an hour to get out. She actually didn't bring us any food. Everyone else and their mother brought food (and drinks on occassion when they thought of us). She walked by several times without asking about top-offs. Food was meh. I think hub's chicken and waffles was for sure better than my Monte madam which was just a mouthful of sloppy salt. The food, which was okay at best was WILDLY over-priced. Still he tipped over 20%. Just because our experience, service, and food sucked doesn't mean we had too... but we will never go back here. SUPER disappointing.“

“Club house on Main in Glastonbury has been a new spot that I have ventured to from time to time and found it always lively with staff that is equally lively, pleasant and attentive. Though there has been one server Nicole W who stood out during my last visit when I brought my kids to watch the Uconn game. I found her very attentive, caring and available before during and through out our time there. While our team Uconn lost we still felt as we won with our experience there under the care of Nicole. In fact we look forward to future visits in hopes we have Nicole W working with us again or someone with the same demeanor and even took the time to take a picture with us to seal the night!! Great experience!!

“Tonight we had dinner in the party room for a wedding celebration (for friends) and it was a GREAT experience. I've been here before but to see how kind, helpful and attentive the staff was- it was so wonderful! They even helped a bit with detail while we decorated and continuously congratulated the new bride and groom. Thank you all for a wonderful experience and the gifts you bestowed upon them as well. “Was there Monday night for dinner and it was amazing from the bread service to the apps drinks dinner and dessert got the bone in ny sirloin cooked to perfection and my friend got the short rib pasta special minus the short rib bc she is a Vegetarian they wete more than happy to accommodate and her food was equally as delicious!!“

I talked to this one security, i forgot his name (big bearded white guy on the second floor ), he gave me recommendations on what other bars were around and ideas on how to spend my time in CT. The bartenders were amazing and the drinks were great. The bathrooms could be a little bit more clean but overall the experience Was great“
