“Zaytoon Lebanese Restaurant in West Hartford with Ty. My first experience with Turkish coffee and it was superb. It's strong just like New Orleans coffee and Right up my alley. Our server was attentive, courteous, and efficient. He had a smile and a pleasant personality and was very helpful with the ordering. The food was hot and delicious. The lamb was a gift from the Greek gods. It was tender and seasoned and most flavorful with no gamey aftertaste. Everything you would want from a Mediterranean/Lebanese restaurant.“

My only complaint is that the app is awful. I hadn’t used it in a while, so I was signed out. When I tried to use my phone number to sign in, it claimed it would send me a code, which it didn’t. I tried to resend the code and it scolded me for not waiting a minute, so I did. I had it resent again and it still didn’t come. So I went through the login option with my email and of course , I forgot my password. Then I had to have an email sent to reset the password. Then it required to do a fancy password… for a rewards app. Ridiculous. Then I get it all reset and have to log in again and after this time, about ten minutes, it finally texts me
The code to sign in with my phone. I click it and it works, but this is a bit much.“

All of the other guests at my table were finishing up their food and they cleared everyone's plate as they put my fresh plate down. I felt very rushed. “I ordered the catering appetizer platter, pita and a side of grilled veggies for take out for a party. There was more than enough for the 20 guests and Everyone raved about the food. I loved that they called me the day before to confirm pick up and everything was ready to go when I arrived. They helped me carry platters into the car. The food is exceptional and the owners are really thoughtful. I've ordered single meals and it's just as good, but do try also for your next gathering. You, and your guests, will be glad you did!“

“Had the best time and food! Our first time here and we sat at the bar. Drink special Simple Plan was tasty with a spicy finish so just right! We loved Tuna Tartare. Best tartare ever and we are not kidding. Poached Shrimp Tostada was good too. Spicy Caesar Salad delish to the last bite. We finished with Salted Caramel Crème Brûlée which was well balanced sweet and flavor tasty. We talked with others at the bar about their dishes and those got good reviews too. So we are looking forward to coming back.“

“my boys & I went to SONG this past Saturday. We ate everything we ordered. The food was super tasty. The depth of flavors was absolutely delicious! We tried the pancake roll which had beef & vegetables inside. OH MY GOODNESS! I could literally eat that every day for the rest of my life! I'm totally serious. I'm not sure why they have only a 4.0, which is a good score. Honestly? SONG is deserving of at least a 4.6 but I'm giving them a 4.8. our waiter was a sweetie, polite & attentive. it wasn't crowded, actually none of the restaurants were super crowded. we were there around 630pm. so maybe it was a bit early. The atmosphere was welcoming & comfortable. This was my 2nd time there & I'll definitely be going back. 4.8! ❤️“

“I came to eat at Olive Garden with my mom and we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Everything was great, but the best part of our visit was our server, Liza.

“Max Burger is a good solid choice for burgers and salads. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting and the staff friendly and accommodating.

The food is quite good with a nice selection of burgers along with protein alternatives like tuna and turkey. They also have vegan options should that be your jam. Salads a good but they have slowly gotten smaller over time. One can assume this is to keep profit margins solid. What is nice is they source from many local suppliers.

They offer a decent selection of drafts as well cocktails and NA selections.

When in the mood for a good burger add this option to your list.“

“Come here for the exceptional Thai food, get the vibe and extraordinary service somewhere else.

The Thai food menu is a huge range and they accommodate everyone. The duck salad was the best I ever had. The menu really has something for everyone!

The service is good and professional, the vibe is more like a quiet restaurant with a mix of families and couples and groups.

They don’t have a huge wine menu but boy are they generous with their pours.

We will always come back here for a great meal, quiet vibe and easy dinner experience.“

“Overall, Ben & Jerry’s is a great spot to stop by for a scoop of ice cream! it’s been a staple of W. Hartford Center for many years now, and I’m grateful that it’s maintained such a long-term presence. The staff are always friendly, kind, and very efficient! The price is a little steep, but so is everything in West Hartford these days.

Overall, there’s a good selection of ice cream! I consume only dairy free ice cream, and usually they will have at least 2 to 3 flavors. The selection of dairy ice cream flavors is more expansive, and they truly have something for everyone in terms of taste. Their shakes and smoothies also looked delicious as well!

Unfortunately, the line is usually extremely long in the summer. The last time I was there, in late June, the line stretched all the way out the door. There were only two employees working, and they seemed quite young. They were doing a wonderful job, but it looked like a lot to juggle. In the warmer months, it may be helpful to staff more people due to the sheer volume.

I wanted to mention something that occurred at my last visit that concerned me. The line was extremely long. The couple in front of us had two medium-large sheepdogs. The dogs were extremely anxious and nervous being in such a long line and in a small and cramped space. They were clearly not doing well. A staff member kindly asked the couple to bring the dogs outside. They were obviously not service dogs as they had no vest or badge and were clearly not trained to be calm in stressful situations. The couple then proceeded to lie and say they were service animals. The staff dropped it, but I feel that a sign may be helpful for the front door stating service animals only. It was uncomfortable to see these dogs in distress in such a small shop, they were whining and very anxious.

“I used to go to this Chinese restaurant 20 years ago when I was a teenager and lived in CT. Fast forward 25 yrs and I still will only come to this place for Chinese food after moving back! These guys make some truly yummy food and they're extremely kind. Thank you Triple Star for still being here!
